The Battle Royale
Description - The Battle Royale is an virtual simulation, elimination game. Players are placed upon an island, given a weapon (weapons range from handguns to BBQ forks) and expected to kill each other until there is only one survivor. Game play ranges from three days to one week. For more information on the game played on the Absolute Destiny, go here
The Orignal Battle Royale - was not a simulation, but a real game put on by the early Project ZERO. In attempts to find the perfect potential soldier, a group of children (ages 5-11) were taken from their homes and placed on battle fields. Two games were arranged, one on Earth (an island near Fiji), and one on the colonies (in an abandoned shell near TOKO-L1).
The Winner (Earth) - The winner of the Earth games was a Japanese boy named Tatsumichi Akendo, nicknamed Aya. The result of winning (67 kills) left Aya insane. He was the winner at age 8 and is currently a member of Project ZERO at 16.
The Winner (Colony) - A nameless L3 street rat, later deemed Stroda II. Stro, who won with 38 kills, was put under the care and guidance of Doctor U where he trained from age (approx) 6 to 15.
The Winner (Absolute Destiny) - Former L4 trainee, Kahil Emmajuana (age 14), was the winner of the first virtual simulation played on the Absolute Destiny. His kill count was 6.
Copywrite - The concept was taken from Japanese cult horror film Battle Royale™, a movie that has yet to have been released in the United States, but can often be purchased at anime conventions.
