Missus Gumby Goes Abroad

Who would have thought that my job would have me turning my hand to photography? Recently, I was required by my employers to do a spot of digital photography on the European mainland. So, armed with the company Olympus E10, frequent visits to a couple of abundant mini-bars, and a few bible stickers, I set to work.

Hotel 1 - Germany. A hotel in Dusseldorf (nice beer and food), now has the following in one of their rooms. Heh heh.

...and I also took the opportunity of doing this:

Bible in bog - Germany

Yup! It's a bible in a loo - the best place for it!

Hotel 2 - Holland. A nice hotel in the lovely Dutch town of Roermond is now graced thus:

Hopefully, there will be more next year, I may be going to the Bordeaux region of France early in 2002 and perhaps several other counties planet-wide later in the year. Also, I am hoping to visit America (on holiday) next August - so keep watching this space!

*UPDATE* April 2002:

Well, I did a spot of work in France. However, the hotel I stayed at didn't have bibles in the rooms. So sadly, there are no new photographs of any bible sticker fun.

*UPDATE* January 2003:

Brian, the globe-trotting anaesthetist from Wolverhapmton has sent me the following pictures of your favourite bible stickers in action! He put himself in great danger to do so too - considering where they were placed:

***THE HOLIDAY INN, OXFORD, ALABAMA*** in the good ole US of J(esus). Yes, you got it, they were positioned in the stonking great buckle of the bible belt! Woo hoo!

Many thanks to Brian for his extreme courage in the face of such religious adversity! Brian has promised some more in the future, and we are soooo looking forward to them. :-)

If you have taken a photo or two of any of your bible sticker fun, please send the snaps to martin@english-atheist.co.uk and I will be more than happy to include them on this page.
