Government: Independant duchy, founded and ruled by former adventurer Sandoval Baram, with laws determined by the Duke and a council of elected Solons, each of whom governs a city, town, or village. Cities, Towns, And Villages: Baras (capitol), Reinar, Gi-Rahazirath, Tristan, Falrem, Blackburgh, Versalle, Tower Icacius, Sahali, Yulam, Dorath, Port Lliras, and Eridar. Territories: Broken-Crest Hills (northeastern quarter), Khasidra Marshes (southern fringe). Population: ~ 12,000 (57% southron humans, 24% northerner humans, 6% halflings, 4% dwarves, 4% gnomes, 2% orcs, 1% various elves, 1% various goblinoids, 1% other races). Common Languages: Gilden, Rizan, Halfling, and Elven. General Alignment: Neutral Good (with strong neutral tendencies). Tolerated Religions: Gilden, Rizan, Tashi, Halfling, Elven, Dwarven, and Gnomish. Established Temples: Gilden, Rizan, and Tashi. Allies: Gild, Riza, neighboring independant townships.
