Common Name: Ur-Dalechron.
Term For Locals: Dalists.
Government: Union of viceroyalties, with each Viceroy serving in the senate, which dictates the laws of
the Hegemony as a whole, and is lead by an Exarch elected from amongst the Viceroys by senators and
laird citizens.  Viceroys are hereditary rulers of their landholds, and are served by hereditary Thanes
who rule each settlement therein, supported by elected citizen Consuls.  The Exarch holds the most
power in the senate, and is also supreme commander of the army Legions.  An Exarch serves 50 years,
but may be re-elected.  The current Exarch is Sevirus Dolminius Calstarion, of House Maldurak.

Territories: Rel-Aruntur Mountains, Halek-Rel Mountains, Gorkoth-Mal Canyon, Drentath Wood,
Chaldoth Glade (various giants and kobolds also lair amidst these territories, despite the dwarves'
best efforts to root them out).
Population: ~ 85,000 (99% dwarves, 1% other races, not counting giant and kobold tresspassers).
Common Languages: Dwarven and Gnomish.
General Alignment: Lawful Neutral (with strong good tendencies).
Tolerated Religions: Dwarven.
Established Temples: Dwarven.
Allies: Gnomes, Gild (sometimes), Riza (sometimes), and Hirotashi (sometimes).
Enemies: Giants, orcs, goblinoids, kobolds, Gild (sometimes), and Hirotashi (sometimes).
Coinage: Exarchs (platinum), Viceroys (electrum), Thanes (gold), Consuls (silver), and Laird (copper).
Resources: Mithral, adamantine, precious metals, common metals, precious stones, gemstones,
lumber, black powder, firearms, simple gadgets, plain cloth, paper, parchment, cement, and livestock.
