RESULTS OF THE 2007 POPULARITY POLL!

The Female Fight Fiction Wrestling Association today announced the final results of it's fourth annual popularity poll, this one for the year ending 2007.

A slight change to this year's poll in that fans were asked to vote for their favorite wrestler in each division, as opposed to ranking each women individually. So here are the results of the 2007 Popularity Poll:

Overall Top 5
Panthera
- voted 2007's most popular wrestler, edging out Elektra by only 1 vote
after not making the top 5 last year.
Elektra - the Veteran's Division Champ at year end 2007 finished 1 vote behind Panthera,
moving up from her 3rd place finish last year (tied with Brit).

Samurai - a perennial favorite, Samurai drops one spot to 3rd place this year after being
the 2nd most popular wrestler for the previous 2 years.

Estela - in her second year, Estela moves up one place in the overall standings to place 4th,
edging out Brit by only 2 votes!

Brit - the Women's Division Champion at the end of 2007, she drops 2 spots from last years'
3rd place finish (tied with Elektra), to round out the top 5 most popular wrestlers in 2007.

1. Estela - 597 votes (3rd place last year)
2. Brit - 595 votes (2nd place last year)
3. Peaches - 533 votes (1st year in poll)
4. Adina - 489 votes (1st place last year)
5. Shamiqua - 444 votes (5th place last year)
6. Molly - 362 votes (6th place last year)
7. Flora - 267 votes (7th place last year)

Veteran's Division Results
1. Panthera - 722 votes (3rd place last year)
2. Elektra - 721 votes (2nd place last year)
3. Samurai - 647 votes (1st place last year)
4. Sable - 502 votes (1st year in poll)
5. Lace - 499 votes (4th place last year)
6. Ms. Liberty - 494 votes (6th place last year)
7. Big, Bad Bertha - 160 votes (8th place last year)
8. Cocoa - 127 votes (7th place last year))


The polls for 2008 have been reset and are now open, allowing fans to once again rate the women. The fallout from these results remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain, pride and emotions will surely instigate or advance some rivalries!
