Welcome to the Challenge. The Hole-In-One Challenge is set up to add some fun and intrigue to the monthly proceedings. Each month, the participants will decide whether or not they want to enter into the challenge for a chance at winning the pot. The entry fee will count for that day only and if the pot is not won, it will carry over to the next month's event. To have a chance at winning, a player must enter for that day. There is no obligation to enter and not entering does not prohibit them from entering in future months. RULES AND OTHER POTENTIAL NONSENSE*

  • The entry fee for each event is $2.00.
  • 100% of the total pot will go to the first person who has entered for that day and who makes a hole-in-one during the day's play.
  • The hole-in-one must be made during a round of play and will not count if made while warming up or practicing.
  • The throw must be the first one made on the hole by an individual player. Mulligans and/or provisional shots do not count.
  • The throw must be made from the tee box or an alternate spot agreed on by all participants if the official tee box is unplayable.
  • A hole-in-one only counts if the disc lands inside the basket or the chains. Discs resting on the top of the disc-catcher do not count. If the course is an object course, the disc must only make contact with the object on the first throw from the tee box to count.
  • At least one witness must be present at the time of the shot to verify the hole-in-one.
  • Once a hole-in-one has been made, no other attempts will be counted until it is determined that the challenge will continue for that day. If so, the new entry fees must be collected at that point. Otherwise, the challenge will continue at the next month's event.
