Forney No. 12

This is a heavily modified LGB Forney. The CWN was fortunate enough to purchase it after most modifications were complete. Special thanks to the crew of P.K. and D.C. who represent the previous ownership groups and who continue to support the CWN's efforts with great maintenance and detailing advice. The previous owners added real glass to the windows. The coal load was replaced with a load of real split wood. A new dome was turned. The bell and bell wire were replaced. Many other fine details were also added. Finally but most noteabley, a remarkable paint job was done.

There are plans to add sound, probably Sierra, likely in a trailer car to avoid damaging the work already done. This of course also affords me some flexibility to "reuse" the sound unit with different locos
