Hours at Work:  9:15am - 6:15pm

Well... it was a long day at work... not bad... just busy!  I basically worked on getting all the plots Pamela wanted to see from all of our tests on Pins 28 and 29.  There ended up being 25 pages of graphs that I compiled.  And amazingly that task took me most of the day.

Maria and Aimi were working on wiring up Hong Hou's board most of the day as well.

We had our normal lunch break again outside of AV Williams at the Picnic Tables (AV Williams is the building I work in).  Then, I went back to the computer lab and worked on the plots some more, while Aimi and Maria went to the library to try and find some books on EMG testing.

We had a brief RISE meeting at 2 pm to go over the books they picked up and then again around 5:45pm to discuss the plots.

Mom and Paula met me outside my building around 6pm and then we went and caught the metro into DC.  Got off at Metro Center to go eat at this place called Old Ebbitt Grill.  I called before we got on the metro in College Park to get reservations and the earliest I could get one was 8:30 pm.  She said, however, that if we came and checked in before then, we'd probably be seated earlier than that... the wait time was about 45 minutes... We arrived just shortly after 7 pm and didn't get seated until 8:15.  But after we were seated the service was really quick.  Old Ebbitt is a very historic place apparently... It started as a boarding house in 1856.  Apparently British generals toasted one another at Old Ebbitt's bar as they watched the White House burn during the War of 1812.  The food was very good as well and the restaurant was enormous!

We left there around 9:30pm and caught the metro back into College Park.  I had to meet Maria and Aimi 'at 10pm' to go back into DC to go to Platinum Night Club.... So I rushed upstairs and changed quickly and met them back down at their car...

We drove into DC and it was kinda raining when we left, but we hit some pretty hard rains coming into DC.  Finding the club and a parking space was really easy... then we had to go wait in their line for a good while... It was college night, so we were supposed to get in free with a college ID until midnight... we were in the gate before midnight, but NO.... they were charging $15 cover.  So, basically at this point we decided that it wasn't worth the $15 when it was just the three of us... we're going to come back again some other time with more people and get in for free.  Here's a pretty bad picture of the three of us before we went to wait in line at Platinum.

Anyway, so when we started walking back to the car it started pouring... we were all very drenched when we got there and actually kinda just sat there in the car for a few minutes before beginning to drive... And then we couldn't find our way out of DC for a while.... But eventually found a Wendy's.  Aimi wanted some food and I decided to go in and ask for directions... wouldn't you figure that the next street over was the one we were looking for!

The pictures below are after we got back to the car from not going to Platinum....

So we drove back to College Park and Maria dropped me off near my building... I got back to my room and was very much awake, so I had a rather amusing conversation with Charles online until some point after 3am and went to bed.
