Hours at Work:  9:00am - 6:00pm

My entire day revolved around trying to characterize all the data... I was struggling too... the slope was correct, but the interecept was off by a factor of 10^6.  I kept checking the formulae I had and trying different ways of calculating all the values.. but nothing worked.

We had the weekly RISE meeting before lunch as well.  We discussed all the things that we have here to do now... and its quite a bit.  We have to prepare for the RISE level one presentations... I'm in charge of the charge detector.  We have to characterize the data (which I'm doing).  We have to test Hong Hou's photo diodes (Maria's project).  Aimi is working on getting the amplifier circuit working for the EMG stuff as well as prepare the RISE 'chasing lights' project.  Lindsay is working on the electronic lock RISE project.  Also left to do is to bond a bunch of 'chips' so we can test them too.

Anyway, lunch at the Dairy again today.

After lunch I kept working at the characterizations.... I had trouble staying awake around 3ish.

Pamela also helped me figure out why my line was so far off... and it turns out it was a stupid silly little thing that I didn't realize the data was in microamps.

Anyway, by this time it was approaching 5pm.  I chatted with Bryan a bit online while finishing up a few plots... Tomorrow I'm going to try and work on those some more.. but I have to still figure out the RISE project.

I also have to pack tonight because I'm heading to NYC tomorrow at lunchtime.  :)
