Anyway, after that, we met my dad for lunch (he was working in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area today) at Backstreet... mmm good food.

Mom and I then went over to Tech Bookstore and looked around for a while, I decided to go ahead and get my last textbook I needed along with my physics lab manual so that we don't have to fight crowds at the bookstore come next week and the first week of classes.  I also found this REALLY hillarious t-shirt about tech going to the ACC!  I liked it so much I couldn't resist getting one for both myself and my brother.  (aww.. what a nice big sister I am!  ;)  ). 

Anyway, we also stopped by the Hokie Passport office so I could make a deposit into my account, once again avoiding those move-in crowds. 

On the way home, we stopped at Target... and after dinner my aunt came by to help me see if we could figure out what we need to do to deal with my phone which is all but not working... so it looks like I'll be getting a new phone number... we ended up having to go buy a new phone; the good thing is that they're transferring the year's service I had just put on the phone not a month and a half ago. 

Other than that, I've been working on organizing all the stuff in my room off and on, and with the exception of this one box I have there in my room with all my winter clothes, my room isn't looking too bad anymore... too bad my basement keeps flooding or else I'd keep boxes down there again like last year.  I've also been working on putting together a little 'scrapbook' of sorts of pictures and 'memorabilia' from this past year... right now I'm working on the marching band stuff... maybe tomorrow since I don't have anything planned then, I can get a big dent in that project!  :)  its going to be super cool once I finish; I just hope I can get done before I go back to Tech because I know that once I get back there nothing's going to get done on it!
