Hey! How did YOU get in here?? We're a little skittish around strangers! Well…okay. As long as you're here, sit down…have some catnip… let us tell you about ourselves… you'll find us fascinating.

I'm Max and I'm a handsome peaches and cream Persian...part Himalayan, actually. However, SOME people have been known to call me "orange." How gauche. I'm a very cuddly and easy-going guy and am well liked wherever I go, which actually isn't very far. I'm a devoted house cat. When I was very young, I didn't live with my human. My little brother, Kippy, and I lived in a place that I think they called a "cat mill." There were rows and rows of us cats stuck in small cages. Kippy and I were really happy when we got to leave that place and went to live with our humans.

Kippy went to wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge in October 1990. It will sure be good to see him again at the Bridge. My human wrote this little story of her life with Kippy because she loved him a whole bunch:

I'm Mittsi. I'm a domestic, medium-haired calico, and I'm dainty and cute, No question about it! But I'm intelligent too. As you can see, reading is one of my hobbies! My favourite time is evening when my human and I curl up with an afgan, and I frequently give her a wonderful massage. She's SO lucky to have me. Maybe I appear to be a little snooty but, I can't help it...I AM a superior fur person, after all! Before I came to live with my human and Max, I was on my way to the SPCA! THAT was a close call!
