The meeting was called to order at 7:45pm and attendance taken. The minutes for the meeting on July 18 were read by Jennifer. The minutes were passed with no objections.
Executive Reports
Public Relations – Please call in total scores for playoffs and any 4 game wins on Wednesday night. No fines for scores not called in.
Statistician – Playoff schedules and rosters have been handed out. Please fax in playoff score sheets. Players in red on the average sheets are not eligible to play in playoffs.
Fines: Aug 10 Shannon A, Aug 17 Shannon A and Almon B
Treasurer’s Report – Jennifer brought in money paid to date. The league was invited to look at it or be provided a copy.
Connie congratulated league winners Loca’s B and runner up Almon A. Connie also thanked everyone for their participation in the Cyril Abs Memorial Tournament.

3rd place – Tanya Gadsden and Gordie Lynch
The following teams did not send the minimum 4 players and were fined:

Connie went over the playoff schedule.
Old Business
Dooly’s Kempt and Almon A – Helen will receive a warning letter for her behavior. The representatives from Dooly’s Kempt questioned why Leigh Ann was not getting a letter. It was explained that Leigh Ann did not say anything derogatory about the league.

A vote was held to decide where to hold the banquet.
Most Enjoyable Atmosphere was voted on and a winner determined. The winner will be announced at the banquet.
A motion was made to change the qualifications for most sportsmanlike player.
Motion: To change the qualifications of most sportsmanlike player to 65% of the regular season but nominees are not required to play 3 of the last 4 nights.
Jennifer made the motion and Tim seconded it. The motion passed with no objections.
Each team then nominated a player from their team and one from the league for most sportsmanlike player of the year. The league then voted and a winner was determined. The winner will be announced at the banquet.
Connie asked everyone to have nominations for the Hall of Fame at the next meeting. The meeting was then adjourned. Next meeting will be on Sunday, September 11, 2005, at Almon.
