The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. and attendance was taken. The minutes from the last meeting were read by Christa Cormier. The minutes were accepted by Helen Wood without objection.

Executive Reports

Dues was collected from the following teams:

Dooly’s Burnside – $144.00 Captain Eli’s – $144.00

Locas – $144.00 Almon Billiards – $144.00

Dooly’s Kempt – $144.00 Dave Doolittles – $288.00

Brewsters – $144.00

Dues is still outstanding from Spryfield Q, Christa will be picking up the money on Thursday 24 August, 2006.

Fines for the Cyril Abs Tournament are as follows:

Old Business

The definition of Rookie of the Year was found in the minutes form May 6, 1999. The minutes state “the definition of a rookie for the MMPL is that a player cannot have played more than six weeks in this or any other league, including the Metro Pool League, Ladies Metro Pool League, Mixed Metro Pool League and any BCA League.”

New Business

The stats were not done prior to the meeting because Keith Tyler was missing a sheet. The stats will be on the Internet by Monday morning.

Most Sportsmanlike, Most Enjoyable Atmosphere and Nominees for the Hall of Fame were voted on and will be announced at the banquet.

Keith Tyler required the # of people from each team who will be attending the banquet. He needs this information by 24 August 2006.

Next Meeting Sept 10, 2006, each team is required to have banquet money (if guests are attending) and play off money.

Christa Cormier motioned meeting be adjourned Angie Tyler seconded.

8:17 p.m. meeting adjourned.

The executive met after the meeting and decided Rookie of the Year award had to be discussed further. Maybe the definition should read BCA, ACS, Metro leagues or any other sanctioned league.
