The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. and attendance was taken. The minutes from the last meeting were read by Christa Cormier. The minutes were accepted without objection.

Executive Reports

All outstanding money was paid in full by the end of the last season.

Old Business

Tabled for next meeting the motion to do away with of the Rookie of the Year award based on the fact that it is too hard to control, the league can not govern who is a Rookie and who is not.

New Business

The Diamond club is interested in putting in a team this summer; no one was present for the meeting. Heard the tables were checked out by Keith. Christa will try and get a hold of Gloria, the phone number Christa was given was disconnected.

The league has 6 teams for sure. Brewsters needs to be called, need to confirm if they are putting in a team. Greg and Helen have to be called, we heard that Dooly’s Kempt was having a team and Helen was putting a team out of the Diamonds club. Crystal W needs to be called, she may be putting in a team out of Shannon.

A quorum is present so elections for the executive positions will be held tonight. Keith Tyler advised Jenn Potter that he may not be able to fill an executive position.

Nominations for President:

Jenn Potter was nominated for President by Vickie Rowden and Darlene Laidlaw. Jenn Potter accepted nomination. Jenn Potter is President by acclimation.

Nominations for Vice President:

The constitution states that the President and Vice President have to be a Male and a Female, there were no males at the meeting accept for Craig Teal therefore we could not nominate someone for VP. This election will be decided at the next meeting.

Nominations for Treasurer:

Craig Teal was nominated for Treasurer by Jenn Potter and Vicki Rowden. Craig accepted nomination. Craig is Treasurer by acclamation.

Nominations for Secretary:

Christa Cormier was nominated for Secretary by Jenn Potter and Vicki Rowden. Christa accepted nomination. Christa is Treasurer by acclamation.

Craig Teal and Darlene Laidlaw volunteered to do PR if Angie Tyler could not do it. Will discuss next meeting.

Next meeting is May 6, 2007, 7:30 at Almon Billiards.
