The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. and attendance was taken. The minutes from the last meeting were read by Christa Cormier. There is a change to the minutes from last meeting; Dooly’s Burnside did pay their dues on time.

All teams paid dues this meeting.

Public Relations:

Dave Doolittles did not fax score sheet to Craig 18 July, 2007.

Old Business:

Website was renewed, the cost was $53.00. Waiting for Dale Brimbicombe to submit receipt.

New Business:

Most Improved and Most Sportsmanlike awards for each team were handed in to Jenn Potter.

A non-roster player played 2 point for Players club last week. The player won all 4 games. Players club lost 8 points and Almon B gained 8 points. It did not affect the standings. Table for next year discuss stricter penalties for using illegal players.

Table for next year, should players who play less than 4 weeks be entitled to attend the banquet at no cost?

Table for next year to change the criteria for the Most Valuable Player award.

Craig Teal motioned to change Criteria for Most Improved award because a player’s average is one number he feels it should be based on weather or not the player improved. All in favor.

Nominations from the floor will be accepted for the Most Improved award. A secret vote will take place.

All major awards were voted on.

Teams are required to call in scores on Wednesday only.

Players club was playing Dooly’s Burnside. A member from Players club was watching a teammate’s game, the opposing player told her to leave for no reason. Helen spoke to Glen about the incident and in turn Glen informed his teammate that players are allowed to watch games. Helen feels there should be repercussions, it was decided that if it happens again a letter will be sent to the individual.

Jenn Potter submitted quote for banquet. The D.J. is David and the league is paying him $300.

The next meeting is 9 Sept 2007, 7:30 at Almon Billiards. Teams are required to bring head count for banquet; all guests are required to pay $20.00. Guests can pay at the door.
