The daily news was the only paper that could
guarantee that 4 game wins would be included in the sports section. They have
folded therefore the information may not be in the Chronicle Herald.
You are able to email score sheets as well
as fax. If you email make sure all names are spelled correctly.
No fines for late score sheets and no fines
for scores not being called in on time.
Treasurer Reports:
All teams paid dues in full. Players club
did not pay bond.
Old Business:
Michael’s moved to Dooly’s
Cheques will be
ordered, roughly $100 for 100. Discussed weather there was a cheaper way to go
other than cheques. Using money
orders or a credit card for the league. Cheques
are better for record keeping, there is no record if a
money order is used. Dave motioned cheques should be
ordered, Angie Seconded.
Dave motioned that if a
team plays a non-roster player during regular season play the team will
be fined $25 and the points for that player are taken away.
Ross motioned that if you play a non-roster
player during playoffs the whole team loses their points and the team is
suspended for the remainder of playoffs. Dave seconded. All in favor, no one
opposed.
New
Business:
Jackie has a player who owes money to the
team from last year. It is the team’s decision weather or not they want the
player on their team. It is not a league issue because the person does not owe
the league any money.
Dooly’s Burnside
submitted a quote for Cyril Abs Memorial tournament which will be held
No banquet quotes were submitted. Ross will
bring quote for Brewsters next meeting. Banquet will
either be 20th or
Rosters are due next meeting.
Final week of playoffs will be Tuesday and
Wednesday due to the long weekend.
Alix asked each
captain to pass on to their teams to respect each player while at the table.
