Seasons In Australia
Leaves are changing colour, they flutters down from the trees
The days are getting shorter, the heat begins to ease
The kid go back to school, the parents heave a sigh
Summer has now left us, Autumn is now nigh
Snowcaps on the mountains, the skis walk out the doors
Snowmen start to build up, and snow is trekked cross the floors
Warm clothes fill the cupboards, cool clothes go away
Winter is now with us, Autumn went astray
The trees start getting new buds, the birds begin to sing
The lovers start their loving, the animals do their thing
Snow begins to melt so quick, the rivers begin to run
Springtime sneaks upon us, causing lots of fun
The heat begins to rise up, the swim suits jump for joy
The school lets out for the holidays, and play time is the ploy
Christmas time is on us and hearts fill up with cheer
Summer time is with us and party time is here!
Morning In The Outback
The dusty red road is before me
The sun is shining bright
The heat is gathering strength already
Another morning in the outback
Gum trees stand so tall and magestic
Birds fly from their branches
A rainbow of brilliant feathers
And colours like you have never seen
Kangaroos hop along beside us
Emus make dashes for the bush
Wallabys watch on curiously
And koalas look down from the trees
I push my Acubra down on my brow
Take the reins of my brumby tight
I gently nudge him in his side
And we set off down the track
