Vampire Princess Miyu She is the main character of the series. She is a vampire forever at the age of 13, frozen it time. She was turned into a vampire when she drank her mother's blood. Larva tried to kill her, but ended up being her companion instead.Miyu is very wise and has alot of experiance for her age. She is proteceted by Larva, a western shinma bound to her by exchange of blood. Miyu's duty is to return stay shinma to the darkness. though miyu is a vampire she only takes blood from the willing to give it. Her victims are usually good looking males, or beautiful people. Miyu can walk around during the day and is unaffected by crosses and holy water. In the manga miyu dies and they bring her back to life.

Vampire miyu has a very simple plot. It is about Miyu, a vampire, who is bound by duty to return all shinma (god demonds) to the darkness(where they came from),in the oav anyway. The plot of Shin Vampire Miyu confuses me because i have only read one of the comics, but it's about a war between the western shinma and the japanese shinma. YAY!!! i finally saw the 1st 11 eps of the series!!!!! yay! go me! ^.^;great must sees ^_^. They are a tad bit better than the  ova's and a little bit newer. They are like the OAV in the means that she tries to return the shinma and that she has he gorgeous companion!!! ::drool over larva::

Larva Larva is miyu's companion. ::looks at larva and drools:: He was sent to kill her, but could not and exchanged blood with her. He is bound to be miyu's eternal slave, by bood. In the OAV he can not take off his mask,nor speak, but in the series he can, im not sure about the manga. He protects Miyu, and, in my opinion "loves" her. His cousin falls in love with him, which i think miyu is much prettier and needs him more. i cant beilve that he kills miyu ::sobs:: ::stops crying at least its not in the oav...

Shiina I'm pretty sure its a she, i really don't know... It is a shinma. I'm not exaclty sure on the hisory of it because it appears in the series and i have only seen the first 11 eps. (once again to remind you ^.~) what i was told was the she was one of miyu's stuffed animals and that it came to life because miyu was lonley. I do know that shiina helps Miyu locate shinma by using its hidden grotesque eye and helps her return them to the darkness.

Himiko I dont have many images of her, this is the biggest one i own in fact. Himiko-san is a spiritalist. She only exsist in the OAV. Himiko was sent to find out"what was wrong" with this little girl that was supposivley sick, and thats where she met Miyu formaly. According to himiko, miyu let the child die (even though she was mostly dead anyways). But miyu didn't kill her, she was going to turn her into a vampire, so she could live and himiko stopped her. Ever since that day, Himiko and miyu was always working no the was case with the shinma(not together). Himiko kinna hates miyu, and miyu want her to stay out of her way. Himiko met miyu an a hill in her "dreams" as a child and ran home scared. in the second oav she go to the hill that was in her "dream" and finds miyu then and eneters miyus house. she then remebers that she went to the hill before for a second time and stays to see the house and finds miyu there. So for all intensive perpases miyu and himiko have met way before the childs death.

Chisato and friends (aah i forgot their names! sorrie) These are miyu's friends from school in the series. chisato is the main one. she id the one with the brown hair in the front. She is the one that befriends miyu first. Chisato is very hyper active and "cute" accoriding to miyu. Her bangs get on my nerves, but i guess thats not important.

Carlua She exsist only in the manga, i think. She's Larva's cousin whom is love with him. She teams up with the rest of her family, the Western Shinma, to get him back. She donates blood to him so that Cait Sith can perform the Dark Exorcism (an evil rite to remove Miyu's blood from Larva's body).

The Western Shinma The western shinma are the other shinma clan that roam the earth, this is originally the clan larva came from.they will stop nothing to get him back. In the manga, this is the clan that opposes Miyu and makes larva kill her... ::sobs:: They also come to take over the spiritual world of Japan!
