Yes...Patti is my real name. I figure it makes it easier to remember who I am when I meet chat friends in person. I'm a 41-year-old, soon-to-be-divorced, Ottawa woman, and work as a production manager/graphic artist. No children and no pets, either four or two-legged. I like stimulating, intelligent conversation, red wine, dogs, writing and, well...tons of stuff.

I've been chatting regularly with the #bbw-canada folks since the summer of 2000 and have been delighted to find a warm and fun group of friends to do things with now and then, as well as spending quiet evening hours chatting up a storm. I'm hoping to start exploring this city (my hometown) more thoroughly this year, and museums, galleries, movies and restaurants are all on my list of places to check out.
