"Lost" is coming back to TV on Jan. 31, ABC announced today.

And, upon its return, the show has a new day. It'll be Thursdays at 9 instead of Wednesdays.

As far as the writers guild strike is concerned, they apparently have taped 8 episodes — of the 16 originally slated for the season. So, it might be half a season. Don't know what that means for ABC's plans to finish up the series with three seasons of 16 episodes.

Hopefully, the writers and production companies can reach an agreement by then and we can get a full season.
