DanceDance Revolution

Yes, I got DDR, and yes, it's awesome. If you disagree you can leave. As I was saying, DDR is awesome. You time arrows on a pad while dancing to cool music... actually, if you don't know what I'm talking about, you should just go to the official site... if there is one...

So, the first day I got it... ook, btw, I my brother was the one who really searched for a store that had it, and we got it around (but not necessarily for) the new year. Anyway, it's AWESOME. You dance... yeah. Like I said: awesome.

Ok, so I sucked the first several (2) days, but after that I got the hang of it. I was pretty good at normal level songs (whihc are called "Light" to make others think you're some kind of newb when playing in the arcade)(even though you actually are ^ ^) within a day or two, adn after about a week, I could handle "Standard" songs (which are actually songs made up of "Complex dance steps".) There are a lot of cool songs... but some boring, slow, useless one's that they could've replaced with some techno. That would've been cool.
I just worried for a while whether we should've gotten the PS2 version... oh yeah, we got the X-Box version. Forgot to tell you. It only has about 42 songs... though, actually, when I think about ti, I don't know if that's a lot or not. I think the arcade version has, like, 60-some songs. Yeah. You can play on X-Box live... which we also have... though I don't really see why you would want to. You're not really playing other people. You still do the same songs... by yourself. Maybe if you enjoy talking to people with a bumpy voice while jumping up and down on the pad...

Yeah, so DDR is an awesome game. If you haven't played it arcades (perhaps because you didn't want to look silly with all the people around? >=) ) I recommend that you do. You don't have to go out of your way to do it... just, if you ever happen to be at a pizza place, movie theatre, or some other place that has an arcade in it, and if that place has DDR, play it. It'll be hard at first, but hell of fun. =) Oh, and if you do play it in an arcade for the first time, DON'T set in on hard, or even normal, for that matter... unless you're some rich guy who can waste quarters on failing songs in ten seconds... yeah...

Okay... I've talked enough...
