It's about time to give you an update! The latest news are that we got a puppy!!! It's a soft coated wheaten terrier. We had wanted a dog for some time but couldn't decide on the breed. Then friends told us about this friendly and playful breed and we decided to get one. We were lucky, someone here in Pittsburgh was just trying to sell his 5 months old puppy because he didn't have enough time for him. So a week ago we took him to our home. We call him Nico. He is already toilet trained and listens to some commands. Only walking on the leash he doesn't like too much. So taking him out is always quite a project.

The 4th of July weekend we spent in Chataqua, a beautiful place at a lake 2hours north of Pittsburgh. Next weekend we are planning to go camping. It will be Nico's first big trip! The week after that my (Patty's) mom is coming to visit us for a week.
