parents once again! 6 hours old. |
Katlyn 3,
Gavin 3 wks, Canaan 5 |

My husband and I
have been married for 8 years now. We met a year after I got out
of high school, and he was getting out of the services. It was
funny that we got together while we both lived here, because
while we were in high school we lived in neighboring towns and
never knew each other. He was born and raised in Burkesville Ky,
and I lived in Albany Ky.
We have two
children right now. Our oldest is our son, Canaan. I wanted a
biblical name for him, but a different one. I haven't met but
about 3 other people with the same name. He's big for his age,
just like when he was born (a healthy 10 pounder!) and is now 48"
and 50 lbs at 5 years old. He likes watching cartoons, being with
his daddy and papaws, riding on the tractors, and in the trucks,
carrying keys in his pockets and helping his daddy work on his
tool shed. He's our little man and is quite a stinker. :)
Our little girl
Katlyn is 3 and is fast following her brothers footsteps! She was
born an average 7.5 lbs, but is still tall for her age. She's now
38" and 38 lbs. To me she's still small, cause she's so much
smaller than Canaan was at her age, but she stands a head taller
than other girls her age normally. Oh well. :) She also likes
cartoons as well as Barbies and, likes being held and cuddled,
coloring (on paper or herself!), her daddy and grandparents, and
wallering under blankets.
Our newest
member, Gavin, has a short list of likes so far...eating,
sleeping and messing. :) He was just born in August 2000 and you
can read all of my birth stories in that section.
My husband works
for a crane company in Nashville, TN. They move heavy equipment
around the country for all sorts of corporations, factories and
hospitals. He really likes what he does. He's a former army guy
and just recently got out of the National Guard. He's been all
over the world, where I have not.
I'm a home
manager! I'm here with the kids and take care of everything that
comes in and out of our house! I like to draw and read, and of
course spend time with my family. I'm home schooling my kids too.
I went to Western Ky University for 2 years where I started on my
graphic arts degree.
We go to Living
Word Church in Adairville, KY. The town is really small, but the
congregation comes from all the surrounding towns and counties,
plus Adairville of course! And we're in the process of expanding
our church to make more room for our growing needs! That's
exciting! They have a wonderful spirit there and are so welcoming
to any and all people. We've had visitors from Haiti, Japan,
Mexico and others that I can't even remember! It's wonderful
seeing God work all over the world!
