Notations from the mind

These are just some things I've written on various subjects. If you wish to borrow any feel free, just give credit. :) thanks!

Baby Inside

In my womb I see a child, a child who is of me.

Who's growing strong in life and love and soon they will be free.

The tiny toes, those little eyes, a smile that I'll soon see--

That downy hair, the little nose--what else could it be?

A poem for fall

Time marches on and colors change. Espanses broaden, a different range.

Fall closes in it's open doors and we're inside it's colored floor.

Catch a glimpse of baby deer, a precious site this time of year.

Feel fever of the festival, see little things, so trivial.

A candle burns in cool seasons to give a cuddle many reasons.

A magical time it seems to be, red, orange, yellow, brown and green.

Many things could be said, that's true, to see the tears of morning dew.

It'll never change, this color range, third season in the cycle.

We feel the crack of fallen leaves, feeling hype and docile.

The doors, they open, the other end, to let us out once more.

Winter's there so let's begin, in the door we were before.

This is an epitaph I wrote in high school. We had to do this for one of our writing assignments. Strange I know, but here it is.

Epitaph for husband and wife

I, my love, hold you to Heaven. Compared to the joys of birth and deep love, you stretch your beauty beyond any bounds.

And I, my love, hold you to rapture. Nothing escaping the joy you gave me or returned love with great effort.

The world is only where we met, endured together and stayed close, but now,

In the darkness of death, we're bound forever, a light unto spirited walls.

We're bound together like no earth can and our eternal love will never fall.
