This was Sheila. Our first exotic pet. My husband really had been wanting one for a long time and I finally broke down and got him one back in...94. She was a funky thing to have, neat too. The thing is Iguana's can be hard to care for. No matter how much reading I did, she didnt' seem to thrive. She was with us for probably a year though. She developed something towards the end that in effect caused the end of her nose to fall off! Imagine my surprise when i seen that! It started healing up after taking her to the vet, but she just didnt' seem to fully recover.

This is Ubu here with my son Canaan (when he was around 9 or 10 months old.) She was a very sweet tempered lab. Mom found her and her brother in a junkyard behind a house we used to live in. Ubu attracted Gus to mom's home too. He's been with her every since. She was old enough to have had one batch of pups when she was hit. Gus mourned her as much as the family. She was his little woman.
