aria spent lots of time determining the flowers and other decorations for the wedding. If you had asked her a year ago what color flowers she would have at her wedding, you can bet she'd never have thought they'd be as colorful as this.

or Maria's bridal bouquet, the florist created a mix of white lisianthus and lavender roses. Accents to these were lavender wax flowers and sprigs of lavender.

he bridesmaids carried hand-tied bouquets of deep purple lisianthus, lavender roses, hot pink asters, and lavender wax flowers. Heather, the Maid of Honor, had white lisianthus mixed into her bouquet. Alissa, the flower girl, carried a basket full of white lisianthus, lavender roses, hot pink asters, and pink carnations.

he Dama De Amour carried a hand-tied bouquet of red roses, accented with sprigs of lavender. Traditionally, the Dama De Amour wears a red dress to symbolize love and purity. Amanda played it down in her silver dress and red rose bouquet.


enny and his groomsmen wore boutonnieres of white snowberries (made of silk), lavender wax flower accents and fresh greens. The best "person" is Kari, Kenny's sister. She did not have a boutonniere, rather, she carried a small bouquet of 3 purple mini calla lilies. (Kari carried a bouquet of large white callas at her own wedding in September of 1998).


enny's mother and grandmother carried gardenia stems, and Maria's mom carried a single white orchid stem. Maria's dad wore a white lisianthus boutonniere.


he placecard table showcased wedding photos from the bride and groom's families, with the seating cards held by placecard holders shaped like tiny utensils. A huge crystal vase filled with pussy willows and lavender wax flowers adorned the table. The guest book table was accented with a vase full of star-gazer lilies, lavender roses, hot pink asters, and sprigs of lavender. The guest book was not a traditional "book", but rather, a large goldfish bowl for guests to drop in handwritten notes of advice for the bride and groom.
