riday was my day of relaxation and pampering. I had a pedicure and manicure appointment and then I was taking the girls out for the bridal luncheon. Heather, Clea and I went out for some breakfast and run some more last minute errands at the drug store and the hallmark store since I still needed to get Kenny a 'For my Groom on our wedding day card'. We arrived back to the house about 15 minutes before my pedicure appointment so I flew into the shower and flew to the salon with Heather in tow. (Clea wanted to sleep - as usual - so she stayed at my house) Pamie came by early to the salon because she had an appointment too and she found me in the BIG CHAIR with my feetsies soaking in the big bubble-making machine. It was heaven - there I was eating my chicken salad bagel sandwich while reading about Nicole and Tom's divorce (point one - not a good idea to read about divorces the day before you get married).

he pedicure was marvelous - complete with massage - simply heavenly. While I was getting my toes done Pamie was kind enough to take Heather back home so that she could get some rest and get ready for our luncheon. At noon I went over to Tri, my manicurist. We got to work right away on my nails and he put this gorgeous light lilac color as the base (Opera is the name of the color) and he accented each nail with two diagonal stripes of silver (with some glitter to it). It was very simple and very me! Of course my nails took longer than expected since I sat there until I was sure they were really dry because I didn't want to ruin them.

e left the salon about 1:15 for my house and was happy to find that some of the girls were already there. I quickly ran upstairs to change into something more appropriate for entertaining. We were then off to Willie's Tavern for lunch. At the luncheon I gave the girls their gifts and I do believe they we very happy with what I gave them. Each of my girls received the mini-blue porcelain Tiffany box, white gold double chain-link bracelet, a chocolate Bloomies charge card and a little book for Bridesmaids. For Heather, my maid-of-honor, I gave her a 'hugs and kisses' bracelet in white gold and the 'I DO' book for brides, since she is a bride-to-be. But the one person who I think was the happiest was my flower girl, Alissa - I found the prettiest Swarvski crystal flower basket pendant for her. She didn't want to take of her flower basket pendant off for anything in the world and she showed everyone her great big 'diamond' with the pretty color stones on it. I also gave her a collection of mini-books of all the famous fairy tales and I wrote inside all the books "The Library of Alissa Forrester".

unch was absolutely yummy and we all ordered dessert - which was even better than lunch! I split the Chocolate-chip cookie pie ala mode with Julie (they drizzle it with hot fudge and warm the cookie pie up and place it on a bed of caramel - SINFUL!) After lunch we went to the florist to firm up the last bit of details and buy some more pretty flowers for the front of the house and then we went off to Kenny's work to pick up his paycheck for last minute deposits. Plus it was also a good excuse for me to see my sweetie! Once we left Kenny we were off to the Summerfield Suites hotel to check him in (I was already doing wifely things!)

fter we finished checking everyone in at the hotel we went to the mall for Emergency Shopping Trip Number Three (in just as many days!) At lunch I realized that there was no way that I would be able to go to the Ladies room in my gown and slip and wear full stockings - so I needed to go and get thigh-highs ASAP. Of course, I had no idea what I was looking for because Point two: there are about a gazillion types of thigh-highs and Point Three: when in a crunch you buy one of every kind.

andee (a bridesmaid), Amanda (my Jr. Bridesmaid) and Heather went to this cute little shop of hair accessories - Claire's to find fun things to put in their hair for the wedding. When I was finished with my purchases, Clea and I met up with them where they showed me their great find: these great bobby pins with rhinestones on the closed end. I liked them so much I bought enough for all the girls to wear in their hair if they wanted to. Bravo - another successful trip to the mall!

e left the mall and we were finally on our way home to rest and relax. I still needed to pack an overnight bag for the 'Wedding Night' and I also wanted to make Kenny a little goody bag for his last night as a bachelor. I knew he wouldn't have thought to bring any food with him to the hotel and he gets the munchies late at night. While I was doing this, my mother arrives at my house to spend my last night as a singleton with me. When she found out that I was planning on taking my things to Kenny that evening, she proceeded to tell me that I am crazy and that I was asking for bad luck. 'How can you do this - you shouldn't see Kenny before the wedding - it's 11 p.m., it's late - STAY HOME!' I turned to her and told her that I had one hour before the actual 'wedding day' and I was going and left! (I do believe bridezilla came out at that point).

o off I went (with Clea in tow) to the hotel to drop off my things and to get one final kiss from my boy. As I was saying goodbye to him he looked so cute that I didn't want to leave - I hated leaving him there all by himself but I had to keep with tradition and go. When we arrived at home I wasn't least bit tired, so my mom and I sat up for a better part of the night. We were just talking about all different types of things and reminiscing about the good old days. She also gave me some last minute advice and eventually I fell asleep in my Mom's arms for the last time and had a dreamless sound sleep.
