Have been quite behind on the writing thing. I need to finish a review of the Stryker/Slagle cd for Blogcritics, and I have other music stuff to post on Monk Notes. Then there is the writing for work, and oh yeah...maybe a story or poem or some such. Should also write a bit of a review of the concert I saw last Thursday of the Bill Frisell Trio (seen here, except the bass player who was obstructed from my view most of the night).

Tonya's birthday was Friday, and I made tacos at her request. Alex comes back from Austin today. Twins went to Grandma's. Boy and I went to Fish Hatchery yesterday. Missed party for Alex's team.

Wrote a review of a textbook last week, so I guess I'll be a paid writer again. Yee-hah.

Struggling through a book of poems by Paul Celan. Behind about three issues of Poetry. My subscription has run out, and I don't know that I'll renew it. Lots of reasons.

Gotta clean the study so I can get some work done.
