Project has been kicking my tail, but I'm trying to trust the Lord to see me through it. Will need to get to work after this.

Got a poem accepted recently by Cadenza. Got a rejection for an old story less than 24 hours after I sent it. The acceptance has come nearly a year after the submission. What a wonder is technology.

The summer soccer is still a bit up in the air. Don't know if enough girls are interested.

Working on cleaning the house, and getting rid of some of the cats. Slow, slow going. The dog follows me everywhere.

Last night/this morning I finished reading a really, really good book called Blue Like Jazz. It is by Donald Miller. I will likely review it on Monk Notes, but I do want to say that it is one of the most spiritually challenging books I have read in a long time. His website says a movie of it is in the works. That ought to be interesting.
