We've gotten a lot of rain lately. My yard is a jungle. Was going to have it mowed yesterday, but the rain kept the guy away. Hopefully today, but who knows. Would like to have my yard back.

Bush commuted Libby's sentence. Now the only one's who didn't see that coming were those who expected a full pardon.

Alex went to Memaw's for a few days. Got to talk to Steve, and that was really cool. While in town, I got my hair cut, and ran into an old friend. Not a bad day except for the rain.

Have seen two movies in the past week: Ratatouille and Spider-Man 3. The rat movie was much better than I expected. The story was really well told. The spider movie (my second viewing) was okay, not made much better by seeing it at the IMAX theatre.

Went to doctor yesterday to get blood checked and talk about headaches that worry everyone else more than they worry me. All the other parts of the physical looked good-- doctor even said I had a heart. No word on the brain. Results of blood work, I suppose, will follow.

Listening to a mix of guitar jazz, but I suppose I'll be switching to Keith Jarrett before too long, or else I will listen to the CD I am supposed to be reviewing.
