for now...

Rah Rah Rah Rah Rah...Rah Rah Rah Rah. We felt like having a little Christmas Story of our own. Wanted to show a picture of the duck I at on Christmas, but the Yahoo think says it is too large. Don't know why. It just barely filled me up. We went to see National Treasure after eating. Was a pretty good day.

December, as most of you know is particularly stressful for our family, but I think we got through it. In addition to Christmas, with Max in the pageant, we had birthdays for Angela, Alex, and Max. I suppose everyone is reasonably happy, though Angela kinda got the shaft on her birthday when her friends ditched her party a couple days before. Alex got to do a few things. We went to see The Water Horse on Max's birthday.

Before Christmas was the pageant. Max was a speaker and he did a great job. Kind of missed having the other kids in it, but I am glad I got to enjoy it. This is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. The day before was the Festival of Lessons and Carols at church. We have been at St. Peter's for ten years, and I think it was the first time I have actually attended this service. It was wonderful.

Before the pageant, we spent a Saturday at John and Kaye's house. This was also a big highlight. Ate like crazy and had lots of fun with my brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. Had a spirited ornament exchange. I did not get the Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots one, but I did get the Looney Tunes ornament, which is almost as cool. Lots in both games of Horse, but I didn't hurt myself. Was very happy to see everyone.

Of course, I'm glad to see 2007 end. Was not a great year. Thought 2006 sucked but 2007 sucked and blew. 2008 doesn't look much better. As I write, I am very close to losing my house. Pray if you got 'em. We need a bit of a miracle. And by "a bit," I mean something along the lines of Superman flying backwards and altering time sort of miracle.

Anyway, here is to a better year this year. I'm still holding out hope. Lord knows.

Prayers said. Looks like a tough economy on everyone. We hope to filter through these medical bills from John's accident nd get the rest of our debt gone. HUGs to the family. Kaye and crew
