Last week was Spring Break for me. What did I do? Mostly grade papers and try to not be stressed about how far behind I am. The weather was great, but I didn't get out except to take kids places and do soccer practice and the first game of the season for RC United (Michaela and Alex both on the team). They played the number one team from last season and lost 0-4, but the team played very well. I was really proud of the girls. Got a massive sun and windburn on my balding head and face.

This week is Spring Break for the kids and Tonya. The twins have new beds and Tonya has been working hard putting them together. It has been raining like mad. People are not, in general, happy about that. But I like sleeping with it outside. My school even closed early this afternoon because of the storms. That is odd.

Not much happening in the way of writing unless you count the hundreds of emails to students each day. Some publications happening. Two of my stories will be available on Sniplits.com anytime now. They will publish them in audio form, which ought to be interesting. Hey, if over 500 people buy either story, I actually get royalties! Yippee, yeehah!

For the first time in several years, I am not teaching Maymester this year. I'll have two composition classes in Summer II. Ick. I'm trying to look on the bright side.
