Treize Khushrenada is the highly respected superior officer of the Oz(Organization of the Zodiac). He is referred to as "His Excellency" by all other officials of Oz. He also has affections for his assistant, Lady Une. He later requests to be removed from Oz by officials from the Romefeller Foundation because he objected Oz's proposal to use the Mobile Suits as puppets. He mainly wants peace, but power, which is why he objected Oz, who vies for power once they have taken over. In earlier episodes he never pilots any Mobile Suits, but he does defeat Chang Wufei in a swordfight. Later in the series, he rematches Chang Wufei in a Mobile Suit battle and pilots the deadly Tallgeese II. He fights a brief but hard battle and then dies to Chang Wufei in the Altron.
