I am the lizard king! I can do anything! C'Mon! How many of you people know you're alive? How many of you people know you're really alive?? We're all just plastic soldiers in the miniature dirtwar...
~*~My wild love went riding, she rode all the day. She rode to the devil, and asked him to play.  The devil was wiser,  its time to repay him. He asked her to give back the money she spent...  My wild love went riding, she rode to the sea.  She asked him to give her, some shells for her hair.  She rode and she rode on, she rode for awhile.  Then stopped for an evening, and laid her head down.  She rode on to Christmas, she rode to the fall.  She rode to Japan, and entered the town. By this time the river, had changed on her knees. She asked for the people, to let her go free. My wild love is crazy, she screams like a bird.  She moves like a cat, when she wants to be heard.  My wild love went riding, she rode for an hour.  She rode and she rested, and then she moved on.~*~
-Jim Morrison
"I have been in love with Jim since the very first time I heard his sexy voice... This band will never be replaced or outdone, it's an impossiblity. The Doors will live forever in their music and as a part of us."
Pam Courson died 4 years after Jim (1974) from a heroin O.D.
They never married but Pam was the only woman Jim had any length of a relationship with.

The Doors made a huge donation to the rock and roll history and

development.  No one else has been able to shake the stage like

Morrison, and no hits are quite as memorable as "Light my Fire" or

"The End". And it is only a handful of people that wouldn't recoginize

those lyrics, or even Jims' name. Morrison passed away only 6 shy

years after the band was formed, but even in the grave his poems

continue to pierce our hearts.
