“Alfred Russell Wallace came to the conclusion that evolution involved more than natural selection and was guided by creative intelligences, which he identified with angels.”
Because God cannot act directly in this world of finite time and space, God had to make the spirit world and spirit beings as an intermediate to the physical realm. The initial spirit beings that God created were angels and one of their purposes was to do the “manual labor” of creation. These angels were not the stereotypical angels with wings and halos, but more like human artists and scientists who carefully and methodically constructed myriads of beautiful and strange organisms.
There were many angels and they were of several different types. There was a hierarchy of nine different types of angels, although not each different type was involved with the creation of the biological realm. They performed a variety of different tasks and duties in order to develop life, as we know it today. Hosts of different angels were given knowledge about anatomy, biochemistry, chemistry, ecology, physics, genetic engineering, physical biochemistry, molecular biology, genetic engineering, physiology, and neurology, etc. In other words, there were many angels knowledgeable about every field of science that enabled them, with adequate direction, to build a world full of life. Since their bodies were substantial but not physical, they could exist and function in inhospitable environments, such as without oxygen and under water.
The angels made "nature spirits" or elementals to assist with the creation and maintenance of the biological world. These were of four types corresponding to the four four major division of the physical world, i.e. earth (gnomes or elves or leprechauns), water (undines or water fairies), air (sylphs or aerials), and fire (salamanders).
It took a long, long time and a lot of trail and error experimentation to change the original lifeless, inorganic planet into what it is today. The work of the creation angels was completed about 20, 000 years ago when the first human babies (male and female) were born from humanoid parents. From that point onward, it was the work of archangels and guardian angels to nurture, educate, and protect the humans, until they learned to care for themselves.
In order to start constructing life forms the creation angels utilized psychokinetic abilities that enabled them to first construct simple organic molecules and then using those simple molecules they synthesized: cell walls, membranes, enzymes, ribosomes, transfer RNA, DNA, and all the other components of a simple cell. They had to synthesize these complex organic molecules starting from simple molecules such as: ammonia, water, carbonates, phosphates, and sulfides. To construct any particular molecule or macromolecule, the angels had to visualize the structure and visualize how it would interact with other structures. The angels served as a focal point through which God could work. They produced bacteriophages (bacterial viruses) as tools with which to place new genetic information into bacteria and thereby create new species. After they created early animals and plants, they produced and used viruses to introduce novel genetic information into these animals and plants. They developed restriction enzymes with which they could selectively cut DNA for insertion of new genetic information or for removal of undesired information. They learned to direct recombination of chromosomes in germ cells using psychokinetic abilities. They also learned to utilize selective breeding and horticultural techniques so as to guide species development. They also built in redundant information to all genomes so that when the environment changed in unforeseen ways the population could adapt. Here are many of the effects seen and described by evolutionary biologists, the foremost of which was Darwin.
