You will have no doubt, noticed an absence of editions of Model East for a while.

The unforseen circumstances for this are a combination of a lack of subscribed articles as well as a change in my work schedule. Even my duties as the former Vice President became affected.

I think it is vital, to enable the newsletter to continue, that members genuinely consider finding and submitting articles for its pages. I am reluctant to put too much input in myself in case it leans to my modelling interests, at the expense of other genres. Any articles you may have can be submitted in hardcopy or by email to me.

As the title of this editorial says—”What a year!” Another year has come and gone– who could have believed the changes in the world in 2001. With everything that has happened, I hope you all found the time to gather your family and friends around you for a joyous Christmas/ New Year.

The magazine website has been updated with a new photo gallery, articles and a slightly different look. The address is at the bottom of this page
