Does that mean you kind of care about this person’s impressions on you when you read over the emails you write to him over and over again before sending it out? Does it mean you really don’t want to embarrass yourself in front of him if you check your weakest spot, grammar, several times? I think the answer is yes. But does it mean attraction? Love? Not necessarily. Wanting to make a good impression is human nature. A very important one.
Weekends are the nicest part of the week. Yeah you have work, lots of work, but you also have “unlimited” time. You are free to stay up all night because you’re free to sleep in your bed the whole daytime. Isn’t that a luxurious thing to do? It’s nice just cozy up with a pillow on the bed, daydreaming. Or even procrastinating is fantastic! You know you gotta do work but you just don’t do it. How good that feels when you feel some power dragging you around to the thing that you want—fun, entertainment and relaxation, whereas during the week days your brain will even be logical enough to make you sit down and study.
Another good part of it, is that there is no mealtime. Anytime is mealtime, just as anytime is napping time. Eat, drink, watch tv, work, study, whatever you like. Stay in, go out. Take a walk or take a shower! Have I mentioned party? Yes, that’s a big part too. But it’s too obvious to even talk about.
College life is amazing. It’s even more amazing when you slow down and just enjoy every single second of it.
