I would like to start this page by thanking God, the all Mercifull, for everything that he gave me. Without Him I would have nothing, and I would be nothing.

The following are some of the arwards that I have obtained in my life:

International Gold Medal in Computer Programming

In 1987 Me and my Kuwaiti friend, Akeel Mousa, participated in the International Science Fair in Canada. Many countries from around the world also participated in this fair.

We joined in with a computer program, and to make the story short we won a gold medal in the computer programming field.

My name and his were published in The Student Magazine "Majallet AlTalib" at Kuwait University, and in two Kuwaiti news papers "Al-Qabas" and "Al-Watan".

IEEE Outstanding Leadership Award

Thanks to my teacher Mr. Joseph Beaini, and to all my friends in CBU IEEE that made this one possible.

I was the CBU IEEE Student Chapter President for the year 1994-1995, and this award was given to me by The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers at the request of my friends, the members of this society.

First Place Award in IEEE Core Wars

Given to me by Christian Brother University for winning first place in IEEE Southeastcon '94 Student Software Competition, Core Wars.

Our school competed against 26 other schools in the region. The idea was to write a computer virus that fights other computer viruses in an isolated environment without any human intervention, and we beat the living day light out of every one (You got to love it).

Award for Placing Third in IEEE Software Competition

This was also an award given to me by Christian Brothers University for placing third in the IEEE Southeastcon '95 Student Software Competition.

The software competition was called Cybergame. Me and the IEEE team members designed a computer program that controls a space ship in cyber space. The idea was to have our ship destroy all other ships in the galaxy before getting destroyed.

Dean's List of Honors

A certificate for being on the dean's list for whole year.

Certificate of Merit

Four Certificates of Merit given to me by the Emabassy of State of Kuwait the Cultural division (YES!).

Member of Tau Beta Pi

This one I think is the best of all. It took a while before I got it, but Thank God I did. It took the most effort and work to be a member of the National Engineering Honor Society . If you want to know more about it then go the the Tau Beta Pi Home Page.
