About me
Hi, I am Mohan Kumar from India.
I am working with IBM Linux Technology Center from June, 2005. I am working on kdump, a kernel crash dump feature for IBM pSeries platform.
I am a B.E graduate specialized in Computer Science and Engineering. I did my Diploma in Computer Technology in Thiagarajar Polytechnic(TPT), Salem, then I joined directly in the second year of BE course through Lateral Enry Procedure (Direct Second Year) in Kumaraguru College of Technology(KCT), Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University.
Through campus, I joined Cybernet Software Systems, Chennai, which deals/dealt with database applications mainly for Lotus Notes.
Since my area of interest is System side, I switched to American Megatrends India Pvt Ltd, Chennai. I have worked on SCSI, RAID, Linux and Unix flavors. My area of work was writing utilities and drivers for MegaRaid SCSI controllers. MegaRaid was a product of AMI, now owned by LSI Logic, USA. I worked in AMI for two and half years.
Then I switched to HP GDIC (Formerly DGS), and here my work is writing Linux drivers in Storage domain.
