Chapter 11

JC sat his glass down, he had been sitting in the same spot for over two hours, drinking one beer after another. It wasn't like him at all to show up with out one of the guys, it wasn't like him to show up at a place like this anyway. Johnny's words rang through his head over and over again like a broken record. He couldn't be seen with Justin unless it had something to do with *NSYNC. He hated Johnny and the rest of the guys the moment the words left Johnny's mouth. His heart broke in half at the same time. His life as he knew it was over, he and Justin told their parents. Sure their parents took it hard but they talked about it, and resolved that issue before the day was even over.

JC's family was okay with the fact that their son prefered guys over girls. They knew that things worked out the way they were supposed too. Maybe Justin getting casted onto MMC was part of fate. They didn't want to mess with fate in any way. Justin's mom had known for a very long time that there was something very different about Justin's and JC's relationship as 'friends'. Justin's father was a little up set that his son was like that.

The words his parents said to him rang through out his head also."We love you, and are proud of you no matter what you do, no matter how bad you do. We are your parents and we support you one hundred percent."

JC stood from the bar and turned around, there were so many people dancing around him, having a blast. He was supposed to go out and find him self a girlfriend. Some girl that would get to the press and show the world that he wasn't who he really was. This was his sixth night out at that club. He was looking for girl number five, the girl he would take home so the press that followed him could snap a few pictures of him with a random girl.

A blonde wearing a pair of tight blue jeans and a pink halter top caught his eye. She had just entered the club with a few other girls, who he paid no attention too. She looked to be about 18 years of age, she could be a little older but he didn't care. He was out to piss off Jive and Johnny, and the other's. They wanted him to be like Joey, Chris, and Lance. They wanted him to be like every other man his age. They were going to get that.

JC slowly walked towards the blond girl a half smile on his face. Once the girl noticed him, her eyes sparkled and a smile broke out on her face. A nervous habit was picked up on right away, she kept moving her hand to her hair and moving it behind her ear, even though none had fallen. The girl looked like someone he had meet before, the way her greenish brown eyes looked at him to the way her almost prefect smile, smiled at him.

"Hey, I'm Josh and you are?" JC asked leaning in as close as he could to her body.

"Cara Sindlinger." The woman named Cara smiled as JC moved his hand around her back.

"Care to dance Ms. Sindlinger?" JC winked pulling her to the floor before she could answer yes or no.

She was so small, smaller than the other four girls he had been with the last week. She was five feet six inches, and had an nice body. JC ran his lips over her shoulder leaving a trail of soft butterfly kisses as he ran his hand over her bare back and down to her ass. It usually would take him a few more beers after meeting the girl before he got turned on. It surprised him that he hadn't drank as much and was turned on after five minutes of touching her body.

The woman known as Cara ran her hands to the back of JC's head and took over his lips with her own, all while she and he grinded to the music. JC was slowly dancing their way towards the doors they both had come in at different times. His lips moved from her lips down to her neck and on to her shoulder, his lips stopped and hoovered over her shoulder. JC's heart started to pound faster and faster at the figure standing mere feet from them.

Justin, Chris, and Lance all stood in the door way of the club. Chris and Lance were looking out towards the bar at some woman while Justin was looking right at JC all over Cara. Hurt was written all over Justin's face at the picture in front of him. JC moved his eyes away from Justin and back at the blonde in front of him, the words rang though his head over and over again. JC grabbed Cara's hand and pulled her to the door, pushing past Justin and the rest of the guys to his car.

Justin turned around and watched as JC and some blonde chic walked out the club doors. His heart started to pound and he felt like his world was falling in all around him. Tears were burning at his eyes, wanting to be let free, wanting to fall from where they were. Justin's hand rubbed at his eyes when Lance's hand touched his shoulder.

"You aiight, J?" Lance asked over the music.

"I...I don't feel so good. I'll see you tomorrow at the studio." Justin shouted as he turned around and ran to his car.

Justin looked down the street, JC's car was no where in site. He couldn't have been in the club to much longer than it took for JC to leave. He jumped in his car and pulled on to the road, he wasn't going to stop until he got to JC's apartment. He didn't car what Johnny said to them the other day, he couldn't stand to see JC all over another person. Now he knew how JC felt when he had to hang all over Laura.

Justin slowed to a stop in front of JC's apartment, his eyes scanned everywhere and landed on a few 'reporters' with their camera's aimed up to JC's bedroom window. Justin turned his head and looked up at the window, you could see the outline of two bodies, a man and a woman from the light that was in the room. His heart started to break in half as he watched the shadows take their clothes off.

This wasn't right, the way he felt, what was happening. He was in love with two people, he was actually in love with Laura and JC. In his mind loving Laura was something that just wasn't right, but some how over the last week of being with her, she was doing something to him. He hadn't seen JC in almost a week, and the first time he saw him, he was all over some chick.

Justin picked up his phone and called Laura up. It rang once, twice and on the third ring Joey's voice answered.

"Joey?" Justin asked thinking he dialed the wrong number.

"Justin! Where on God's green earth are you at!" Joey half yelled into the phone causing Justin to move his cell phone away from his ear.

"I'm in my car, why are you at my house? Where the hell is Laura at?" Justin half yelled pressing down on the gas taking a turn.

"I'm at your house because Laura has been crying for the last hour not knowing if you were dead or alive. What the hell is wrong with you? Are you cheating on her, if you are then so help me.."

"Damn shut the fuck up! I'm not cheating on her. If I was I would be happy and with JC. But no you people hate me and you hate the way I am, So I'm stuck with HER!" Justin yelled hanging up the cell phone and throwing it in the back of the car.

He wasn't having a good day, and he didn't need Joey yelling in his ear. Tears were finally spilling from his eyes. Tears he didn't want to fall and tears he hated to have. He wiped them away as he got out of his car and walked to the front door of the house. He knew is mother wouldn't care if it were three o'clock in the morning, she would talk to him she would be there for him and help him out as much as she could.
