The lights seemed to get brighter the more he danced, and the more he danced the more he seemed to realize how much he missed JC. It had been a little over a week since he walked out of the meeting, a little over a week since he saw JC. Every day he was out with another guy that he had met at Club X.
He wanted the world to know that he was gay, moreover he wanted the world to know he loved JC but he knew that wouldn't happen. JC wouldn't come out; he wouldn't because he hated Justin.
"Let's get out of here." The guy whispered in Justin's ear as he pulled at the top of Justin's pants.
With a shrug Justin was pulled through the crowded dance floor and towards the exit. His mind wasn't on the man that was dragging him out of the club it was on JC, the man he was still in love with. A group of people walked in front of them, causing them to stop this of course caused the guy to kiss Justin's neck making a meal out of it.
He wasn't sure if he would have let the guy do it longer or what not, but a silver C-class Mercedes caught Justin's attention causing him to pull away and look at it. The first thing that went through Justin's mind was JC.
JC had that same car, the color and make. He shook it off as the man he was with pulled at the top of his pants again making him walk away from the car.
"Justin." That voice, the voice he had been in love with for years, he knew that voice.
Justin stopped walking and turned around to see JC standing by the car, his heart started to race. Why was he even there, he knew there were reporters lurking around, taking pictures of him with all these guys.
"Josh?" Justin's voice was shaking as he pushed the guy off him and started to advance towards him.
"God." JC's voice sounded in Justin's ear as they took each other in a tight hug
"What are you doing here?" Justin's voice seemed lost as JC pulled him towards the passenger side door and opening it.
"I kind of guessed you'd be here, since they have been showing you on the news all week coming from the club every night." JC shrugged as he ran around to the other side of the door. "I couldn't get away from you." He added as he shifted into first and sped off the road shifting up.
Nothing more was said, even when they entered JC's dark apartment. JC didn't know where to start, and Justin was just like a little kid in a candy store. Wanting, wanting but not getting.
"Listen." Both voices hit each other's ears at the same time, causing Justin to giggle.
"I've been thinking, and my dad's been talking my ear off non stop the past few days. I'm sure your mom called my mom and my mom talked to my dad, and you know how the grapevine works. I was stupid, you were trying to make things better for both of us and I freaked out because I'm a jackass." JC sighed as he sat down on the arm of the couch looking at Justin.
"You aren't a jackass, I mean some times you can be." Justin's words ended with a smile as he walked a little ways to JC. "The most amazing guy in the history of the world. I've gone crazy with out you." Justin added pulling JC into a hug.
"We have a lot to talk about." JC's words were muffled by Justin's shirt, "Justin, we have to talk." JC added pulling out of Justin's arms
"If it's about how much you don't approve of me coming out the way I am, than I don't want to hear it. My mom already disapproves." Justin sighed sitting down, resting his head on the back of the couch.
"Well, first off we need to talk about houses. I'm not moving into a house you already live in. I think we should buy one together." JC shrugged glancing at Justin for a reaction.
"A house. you want to live with me?" Justin asked opening his eyes and sitting up.
"Well, if we are going to be coming out so to speak to the world why not live together. I have some brochures of some really nice houses that are up for sale." JC smiled jumping up and running into the kitchen.
Justin followed JC into the kitchen, where he was digging through a stack of papers. A smile on his face as he pulled out a few papers with houses on them.
"You see, this house is in a gated community mostly just rich people who are either gone with out kids, or gone who leave their kids home for months on end alone. I was actually at it earlier today, they had just remodeled the kitchen, and it's like an old time country type of kitchen now. Kind of like the kitchen at your grandma Timberlake's house. There is a lake that this house and four others look over; it's really magical. The back yard is pretty nice, and it even has a pool." JC looked up at Justin a smile on his face, "It doesn't have a basketball court, but we can buy one of them cheap hoops at Wal*Mart if you really want one." His voice got lower as Justin came closer to him.
"If I had to, I'd live in a cardboard box with you." Justin smiled kissing JC's temple softly.
"Laura and the baby, they can move in or stay in the house you live in now. I. I don't care I mean she is going to be having your child and." JC's words were stopped by Justin's lips
"I love you Josh." Justin breathed holding JC in a tight hug.
"I love you Justin." JC sighed closing his eyes
"I hope you can still love me when the press gets a hold of us." Justin's voice seemed to soften as he held onto JC tighter.
