°Ą° The Little Things °Ą°
Chapter One
Over the past year and a half, JC and Adrea kept their relation ship away from the public and the fans. Johnny and Jive didn’t want to have to put up with the fans if they found out JC was seeing someone. They already had to put up with Sarah and Justin, even though they weren’t dating.
The one thing that made the fans really upset and mad at JC and NSYNC was the fact that one day JC was single and ready to mingle. The next day he is on MTV, Radio shows TV shows telling everyone he is getting married in two-weeks, on December 27th in Adrea’s favorite place on earth.
No one knew much about Adrea, all they knew was she worked for NSYNC with their image and did most of the reports on them that most newspapers ran. They didn’t like the fact that he was getting married, they did like the fact that he was beaming with a smile from ear to ear when talking about getting married.
JC talked about how it took him six months after he bought the ring to finely ask her to marry him. He had the ring with him for six months waiting for his nerves to actually work up the courage for him to do the one thing he wanted to do the most in life. Take care of Adrea and Hailee for the rest of his life.
The whole JC getting married thing came out right after Justin had commented that he and Sarah were just friends. He was being interviewed by MTV the same day JC was being interviewed. After talking with Sarah about what kind of press this was going to give the both of them, after the photos of her jumping into his arms at his house were published in every magazine. People, fans press all thought the two were hot and heavy, so him coming out and saying they have decided to just be friends is going to get some bad press.
Sarah was okay with whatever the press was going to say, after the year and a half they were both finely becoming best friends again. Sarah eventually forgave Justin for attacking her at his place, she knew he didn’t mean it she knew she brought it on her self for jumping into his arms in the first place.
Over the year and a half Hailee had turned 10 years old and wouldn’t stop singing. She would make up songs about anything that came to mind. She even made up a song about her mother, Adrea sneezing when Smiles, the cat was around.
Today is one of the most special days in the life of Adrea Baxston, JC Chasez and moreover, Hailee Leigh Baxston. Even though today she will still be called Hailee Baxston, she felt like a little princess.
Adrea got to set the date, so most of the stuff with JC's mother Karen Chasez. December 27th, Sun Valley, Idaho where Adrea's Grandparents lived. It snowed inches a day during the winter. The sun was shining while the white flakes fell from the heaven. Today was going to be Adrea and JC's day, the day they became one.
Adrea was worried about Hailee though, she knew Hailee loved JC like a father, she just didn't know who was going to take care of her while they were gone on the honey moon. JC got to pick where they were going; he got to pick how long they were going to be gone. Most honeymoons are just a week however; a week didn't seem long enough for him. He picked two weeks in the middle of no where in the Netherlands.
The Sun Valley Lodge was a peaceful place this time a year. The room was warmly lit with a fireplace, white roses at the end of every row of chairs. Sarah was wearing a light pink dress and walked up linking arms with Justin. She was the maid of honor and Justin was JC’s Best man. Each guy walked up with their arms linked with some member of Either Adrea’s family or JC’s family. Jonathan was the ring bear he walked up next to Hailee who was the flower girl. Every one awed and cooed at the two 10 year olds as they walked towards the end of the isle.
The music started to play, every one stood up in their chairs as Adrea came walking down the isle in her creamy white dress that went down to the floor. The Sleeve less dress was a prefect fit for her body. Her vale was placed just right on her head as she linked her arm with her Grandfather, after all her father had died when she was much younger.
Everyone in Adrea’s family was there, everyone but Trevor who has been absents in her and Hailee’s life for almost 2 years. She still hadn’t spoken to him after Hailee’s 9th birthday party. She knew Hailee didn’t understand why Uncle Trevor was gone, she just didn’t under stand how he upset Adrea by not coming to her birthday party.
Adrea heard the priest talking, his lips were moving as he held his bible in his hand. Adrea looked over at JC as he said his wedding vales slipping the diamond ring on her delicate left-hand ring finger. Saying the final words with a huge smile. Adrea then became to say her wedding vales not able to keep her smile at bay. Placing the wedding band on JC’s left-hand ring finger not able to hold her smile back.
“Do you Adrea take his man in sickness and in health, ‘til death do you part….” Adrea listens to the priest ask as he continued his lines.
“I do.” Adrea said with a smile that could light up New York City
“Do You Joshua take this woman in sickness…” Adrea blocked the man out by now as her finished up what he had just asked her.
“I sure do.” JC smiled holding on to Adrea’s hands even tighter.
“You may kiss your bride.” The priest said
Adrea watched as JC’s hands left hers and slowly lifted up the Vale that she had on her face. His face came slowly towards her, stopping mere inches from her lips he whispered.
“I love you.” With that he over took her lips with his own in their first kiss as husband and wife.
Everyone made his or her way to the ski lodge five blocks away, where the reception was being held. When they walked through the door, you could see the table full of presents. When you got all the way into the lodge you could see the tables set with white roses and candles on them. The cake was sitting no a table with two small crystal plates and wineglasses that had the words, “bride” and “groom” on them.
After the majority of the family and friends had got to the lodge the music was playing, people were dancing, if they weren’t dancing they were talking to each other about how lovely the wedding had been. That or they would be talking about what has been going on in their life.
Soon they were all seated for the dinners that they had on their plates. Justin, being the best man stood up to make the first toast.
“I’ve grown up with JC for most of my life, 10 years is a very long time. I’ve seen him with every type of girl under the moon. He was my best friend and we used to talk about everything, until Adrea came along and took him from me!” Justin smiled with a slight laugh, “Adrea came into his life, and something changed in him. To the guys, and me Adrea wasn’t JC’s type, boy were we wrong! I hope you two have a great life together…” Justin smiled holding up his wineglass.
Sarah stood up holding her wineglass in her hand she smiled at her brother and now sister-in-law Adrea.
“I’d like to make a toast.” Sarah smiled as she cleared her throat a little. “Adrea, from the first time I met you, I knew you were going to change the way the guys lived. Never did I think you’d fall for such a hard ass and get married to him. Welcome to the family.” Sarah said lifting her glass to her lips and taking a drink.
Everyone in the family gave a toast to the newly weds, photos were taken for a photo album, they were also contacted by People Magazine. People Magazine wanted to know if they could cover the wedding take pictures and publish them in the Magazine under a title that read something like “Pop Star, Say’s ‘I do.’” Adrea and JC had a long talk if they wanted the whole world to see the wedding or not. Two days before the weddings, Adrea decided that her wedding was going to be perfect and she didn’t care if they were there or not just as long as they didn’t get in the way.
They did the traditional dances, however, since her father wasn’t there because he had died. Adrea danced the traditional father dance with daughter dance with her grandfather.
After the last traditional dances and photos were taken, JC and Adrea changed into some more appropriate clothing for their 14-hour plane ride to the Netherlands. They gave their families hugs and kisses as they made their way out to the awaiting limousine.
Hailee ran up to Adrea and gave her a big hug just before she handed her a present.
“Open it when you get in the limousine, Aunt Sarah said it would be okay if you opened one present early. I picked it out, and Aunt Sarah bought it. I hope you like it.” Hailee smiled as Adrea gave her daughter a kiss.
“You be good for Justin and Aunt Sarah.” Adrea said getting into the limousine, she sat there and watched JC get to eye level and talk to Hailee giving her a small hug before he got into the limousine.
The moment the door shut the limousine took off for the airport leaving everyone else behind. Adrea looked at the gift in her hand and started to open it slowly and carefully.
She opened the box after the wrapping was off and smiled at the small glass gift that was in it. Pulling it out to show a confused JC, they both laughed at the pair of small glass kittens.
“I think leaving her with Justin and Sarah wasn’t such a good idea.” Adrea said as JC put his arm around her.
“Sure it was, they’ll take good care of our daughter, while we have fun for two weeks as a married couple who can’t get enough of each other.” JC smiled dipping his head down and kissing Adrea sweetly on the lips.
