Sarah stood by the couch; her gaze fixed on the car that pulled to a stop in front of the house. A busty woman got out of the car and opened the back seat where a little girl, blonde ringlets bouncing on her hair as she hopped on both feet holding her mothers’ hand.
Justin stood out side by the front door and watched as this little girl, who looked almost just like him came bouncing towards him. She was wearing a pink dress with flowers on it, and white sandals. Justin squatted so he was eye level with the little angel.
“Daddy!” She smiled letting go of her mothers’ hand and landing in Justin’s arms for a hug.
Justin hugged her for a few minutes until she pulled out of the hug and looked at him, looked over his eyes nose ears mouth and hair. Justin looked at her as well, wanting to see someone else besides him in her, her blue eyes were his, and her curly hair was his. It was his daughter and now that he met her, he couldn’t not see her.
Justin tucked some fallen hair behind her ear and picked her up. He half smiled at Stephanie and turned around to go inside the house with her following and Amanda in his arms. Stephanie shut the door and smiled warmly at a pregnant Sarah standing now half way in the kitchen talking on the phone.
“Who’s that daddy?” Amanda asked pointing to Sarah talking on the phone.
“Well, that is my fiancée and soon to be wife Sarah.” Justin said biting his lower lip looking at the back of Sarah’s head.
She knew they were looking at her, and she chooses that time to turn around and hang up the phone. She was showing pretty well, due to the fact that she was having twins. Sarah took a deep breath and was about to cry for the millionth time that day but she couldn’t show that woman what she had done to her, and Justin’s life.
Justin put Amanda down and walked over to Sarah and gave her a small hug.
“Amanda, this is Sarah. She’s going to be your second mom your step mom.” Justin said as Amanda slowly walked over to them.
“Hi.” Amanda said shyly as Sarah squatted down as best as she could
“Hi.” Was all Sarah said before Amanda put her hand on Sarah’s stomach and looked up at her then at her father?
Justin was about to say something, but he wasn’t quite sure what to say. He was still a little nervous finding out he had a four-year-old daughter, but things would work out and that he knew.
“Amanda remember that talk me and you had about Aunt Kay?” Stephanie asked squatting down to be eye level with her daughter, Amanda nodded her head yes and looked at her mom. “Well, Mommy Sarah, she is going to have two little babies just like Aunt Kay.” Stephanie said looking at her daughter trying to see if she understand.
She understood what was being told to her, she understood that she was going to have two new sisters and that she now had another Mommy. Amanda pulled on Sarah’s sleeve so that she could whisper in her ear.
“I need to go potty.” She whispered biting her lip looking at Sarah
Sarah looked up at Stephanie and then Justin before she stood up all the way.
“The bathroom is down there.” Sarah said pointing down the hall, she turned around and walked into the kitchen, grabbing the phone on the way by.
Justin stood up and took Amanda’s hand with Stephanie right behind them; he showed Amanda the bathroom and closed the door for her.
“I’m sorry about Sarah, she’s been acting strange lately with the twins and, her mood swings are really bad at times. She kicked me out of my bedroom for not putting my dirty clothes in the hamper.” Justin half shrugged trying to make it a little easier on Stephanie, and Amanda.
“It’s okay, I understand. My sister was pregnant with twins and she was worse with the mood swings, you’d say one word the wrong way and she was either crying up a storm, or bitching you five was to Sunday.” Stephanie half laughed as Amanda’s little voice was heard calling for her, “Excuse me’ She said with a flirty smile.
Justin walked back down the hallway to find Sarah sitting at the dinning room table on the phone and drinking a glass of milk.
“Mom, I don’t know what to do…” was all Justin heard before Amanda ran towards him
Justin turned around and looked at Stephanie than at Amanda. He knew if he had Amanda stay the night, Sarah would hate him even more, but he couldn’t just see her one-day and then not the next day.
“UH, Stephanie, do you think Amanda could stay tonight… So Sarah and I can get to know her a little more. Have her meet my mom and all that good stuff?” Justin asked a little nervous, he wasn’t quite sure what he was doing, much less if Sarah was going to kill him in his sleep or not. He knew that with Amanda around, Sarah would lash out at him yet.
“Sure, she asked if maybe she could stay… I didn’t bring a change of clothes with me, but I can go and get some from the hotel we are staying at…” Justin cut her off.
“Oh don’t worry about that, We can go shopping for some new clothes.” Justin half smiled down at Amanda.
Stephanie squatted down so she was eye level with Amanda and grabbed her hands; she hadn’t been away from her daughter over night since she was born.
“Amanda, Mommy is going to leave for the night, and you are going to stay with Daddy… What do you think about that?” Stephanie asked in a smooth mother voice.
“I get to stay with Daddy?” Amanda asked her eyes getting wide with excitement. No one had to answer for her she knew the answer. She turned around and grabbed Justin’s leg hugging it to her self. Stephanie stood up and they all three began to walk towards the front door.
“Call my cell phone if she needs me. Thanks Justin, bye Amanda, bye.” Stephanie smiled at her daughter and walked out the door to her car.
Justin turned around and looked at Sarah she was pulling on one of his jackets and putting on some flip-flops. He knew she was leaving to go stay with JC, just by the way she was looking at him.
“Where you going?” Justin asked, knowing the answer already.
“I’m going out, have fun with YOUR daughter.” Sarah said trying to hold back the tears that wanted to fall again.
“Sarah wait.” Justin started moving past Amanda and grabbing Sarah’s shoulders. “Don’t, please don’t be mad. I didn’t know, we weren’t even together… God, please don’t be mad at me Sarah. It’s not healthy or good for Timberlake JR. and Sarah JR.” Justin said wrapping his arms around her, hugging her from the back.
“I don’t want to look at you, to have you touch me… Bye.” Sarah said holding back her tears and she pulled away from Justin and walked out the front door to her car.
Justin looked down at Amanda who was just staring at them like they were a movie. He squatted down so he was eye level with her and grabbed her hands.
“Do you want to meet Grandma, my mom?” Justin asked pushing back some curls out of Amanda’s face.
With a nod of her head all her curls bounces around like his did from time to time. Justin picked her up and started out the front door. He couldn’t keep something this big from his mom, and he had no where else to go.
