Chapter 1

¤ Stuck On You ¤
Chapter One

Justin walked into his hotel room. They had been on tour the past 2 months. He was getting annoyed with wanting to go home. They had 3 more dates on the road, then they would head back to Orlando to do touch ups on songs and dance moves.

Ever since Sarah hooked up with Trevor, Justin spent most of his down time in his hotel room all by him self. He was so used to hanging out with her after every concert; every TV showed they did. That is, when and if she could make it up there with them. There were three reasons she was on the tour with them. The first one is the fact that she doesn’t get to see her brother very much. The second is the fact that Justin was her best friend. And last but not least, she didn’t know what she wanted to do in life. She played basketball in high school, yet she wasn’t all that great at it. She was good at cloths. She was thinking of being a fashion designer.

Justin sighed as he fell back wards on his hotel bed. He had to get Trevor to leave. He needed to spend time with Sarah. He missed their talks; she was his best friend. He hadn’t got to tell her very much because she was hanging all over Trevor.

Justin walked into the bathroom and took a fast shower, only wanting to wash away the past few days. They had been working 18-hour days. Getting up at 6am doing TV shows then the concert which would get out at 10:30pm. It was easy to get used to, every day for the past week was like that.

He got out of the shower and was drying off when he heard a knock at his hotel door. Pulling the towel around his waist he ran to the door. Only wishing his good friend would be standing there, and not Adrea or the guys. When he opened the door, it was neither Sarah, Adrea or the guys. It was Hailee standing in her PJ’s.

“Hey’s what you doing up at this time?” Justin asked looking at the little girl

“When I woke up, Sarah and Mom were gone.” Hailee said tearing up.

“Come in, just watch some TV while I get dressed.” Justin said opening the door and letting Hailee in.

Justin walked into the bathroom and got dressed. When he walked back out of the bathroom. Hailee was under the covers watching TV.

“Do you know where they went?” Hailee asked looking at Justin.

The crush she had on him was slowly fading away. Justin sat down on the other bed and looked at her then the TV. She was watching cartoons. Justin could remember before they got big enough to have their own rooms. Sharing a room with Chris all he would watch was cartoons.

“I’m not sure sweetie. You are more then welcome to sleep in that bed if you want. I’m not going any where tonight.” Justin said with a little yawn as he got under the covers in his bed.

“Isn’t Sarah going to come back here?” Hailee asked yawning as she laid back down her head hitting the pillow.

“No, Sarah don’t come visit me any more.” Justin said

“Why? I thought she loved you.” Hailee yawned closing her eyes.

“She loves Trevor, Good night Hailee.” Justin said clicking off the light

Justin was in a deep sleep only to get awoke up by pounding on the door. He slowly climbed out of his bed and stumbled in the dark to the door. The light from the hall was bright and his eyes weren’t used to it yet.

“What?” Justin bitched as he opens the door to find Sarah standing there.

“Justin, we can’t find Hailee any where. God you have to help us look for her.” Sarah said looking Justin over; he had only been sleeping a good three hours.

Justin rolled his eyes as he walked away from the door. It almost shuts in Sarah’s face. She pushed the door open just before it clicked shut and walked into the dark room.

“Don’t you even care that she is missing? She could be hurt some where, some one could have kidnapped her.” Sarah started

“She’s fine.” Justin mumbled getting back into his hotel bed.

“And you would know, oh mighty Justin Timberlake knows all. He even knows where a missing child is. He even knows that she is fine, even though she could be hurt somewhere!” Sarah said in a pissed off tone. She couldn’t believe her ears. This was not Justin speaking he cared for Hailee. Sarah was about to say something more until she heard a little girl voice speak.

“Justin who are you talking to?” Hailee asked in a sleepy voice.

“No one important go back to sleep.” Justin said in a fatherly tone.

Sarah could feel her anger building up, this whole time he knew where she was and didn’t let her knows. Saying she wasn’t anyone important hurt also.

“Hailee, come on your mommy is looking for you.” Sarah said turning on a lamp next to the beds.

“No, I want to stay here.” Hailee said as Sarah picked her up.

“You know you are supposed to stay in the hotel room.” Sarah said

“But you guys left me. Justin didn’t leave me. I don’t want to go over there. STOP IT!” Hailee cried as Sarah started to walk out of the door.

Justin had got up and followed them.

“Sarah, she wants to stay here. Not with irresponsible people.” Justin said making Sarah turn around.

Adrea was just down the hall and see Sarah holding Hailee and Justin bitching about something.

Adrea ran down the hall and grabbed Hailee out of Sarah’s arms.

“I want to stay with Justin!” Hailee cried reaching out for him

“You have to go with your mom.” Justin said stepping back into his room.

“Justin, no let me stay please. Please let me stay, please. Please Justin please.” Hailee cried as she kicked and pushed to get away from Adrea, her own mother.

“Hailee Ann Baxston you stop this right now. You can not, I repeat CAN not stay with Justin.” Adrea said pulling Hailee back towards her own hotel room.

Justin turned around and started to close his hotel room door. He walked back over to his bed, never hearing the door click he looked up and seen Sarah standing in the doorway. Sarah’s arms across her chest looking at him

Justin got into his bed and covered up, turning the light off. Sarah still stood in the place she had been only moving to let the door shut. All the lights were off it was pitch black.

“You don’t have to ask to sleep in here.” Justin mumbled lying down and closing his eyes.

He knew she was going to either go off on him or just needed to talk. Since they hadn’t seen each other very much, and what just took place he knew she’d be going off on him.

Sarah flipped the lights on and moved a few more feet closer towards Justin.

“How could you just take her and not tell Adrea that you had her?” Sarah’s voiced seemed to be yelling. She wasn’t yelling she was trying to keep her cool.

“Some one had to take care of her. By the way Sar, she walked down here. Almost in tears because you and her mommy were gone.” Justin said almost in a yell.

“You could have at least took her down to where Adrea was, in JC’s hotel room. You know that Adrea never gets to see him, she only really gets to see him when her daughter is sleeping.” Sarah said lowly.

“Where were you? Off with Trevor, your lover boy. I’m not going to make her do things she doesn’t want to do. She was the one that came down here, got into that bed and went to sleep. So you either watch her when Adrea isn’t in the hotel room. Or she’ll be spending more time with me. Now Please get out of my hotel room.” Justin said pointing towards the door.

Sarah didn’t move one inch. She wasn’t going to let him get away with talking to her like that.

“GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOTEL ROOM! I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME SLEEP before 6am!” Justin yelled

How could she just stand there like he was stupid? How could she say he couldn’t take care of a child that was frighten? He wasn’t in the mood for anything she had to say to him. She is the one that stopped talking to him, stopped hanging with him. Sarah was the one that shut him out of her life only in the matter of a few weeks.

With out a word Sarah turned around and walked out of the hotel room. Not letting him see the tears in her eyes. For how ever long they knew each other, he never yelled at her to the point of tears.

Justin got up and shut the door placing the Privacy sign on the out side knob. He shut the light off and climbed into bed. He was tired and now very pissed off that anyone could tell him not to take care of Hailee.
