Chapter 3

¤ Stuck On You ¤
Chapter Three

Justin on to the bus it was on it’s way to the Arena. Everyone was sitting in the front of the bus talking and laughing about stuff. He walked to the back and seen Hailee watching cartoons.

“Hey squirt.” Justin said sitting down next to Hailee.

“Hi, why are you back here? I thought they were all having ‘grown up’ talk.” Hailee said with a slight yawn.

“Yeah they are.” Justin said, “Do I look like a grown up? I play with Barbies.” Justin laughed tickling Hailee.

“Justin?” Hailee asked

“Yes Hays?” Justin asked

“Why are you mad at Sarah?” Hailee asked

“I’m not mad at her.” Justin said looking out the window, they were nearing the arena, and you could see the cars with writing on them that said NSYNC or something of that matter on them.

“Last night, my mom said you yelled at Sarah, that is why she was crying in the bathroom.” Hailee said

Justin’s heart hurt hearing that he made her cry. He never meant to make her cry. He was just pissed off at the time.

“She wasn’t crying because of me. I’m sure she was crying because Trevor was going to be gone today.” Justin said leaning back.

“That isn’t what I heard Sarah tell my mom.” Hailee said sitting up on her knees.

“Huh?” Justin said looking at her.

“Sarah walked in the hotel room and was crying, she wouldn’t tell mom what was wrong until they walked into the bathroom. They left the door a little open and I heard her say you yelled at her, telling her to get out of your hotel room….” Hailee said taking a breath

“Oh…” Justin said as the door opened

“Hailee put your coat on. You don’t want to get cold…” Sarah stopped talking when she noticed Justin sitting in the room. “Come on you don’t want to get cold, let’s get your coat on.” She finished grabbing Hailee’s hand.

“I don’t need help Aunt Sarah.” Hailee said getting her hand back and walking out of the back, she shut the door leaving Sarah and Justin in the room.

Sarah turned around and was about to open the door.

Justin knew this was going to he his only chance to talk to her. He couldn’t see her cell phone on her; then again she did have a coat on. No one was going to be coming to the back any time soon.

“Listen, I’m sorry about making you cry last night.” Justin said, Sarah stopped and turned around.

“You never made me cry.” Sarah said swallowing hard.

“Hailee told me you were crying. I’m sorry, I was tired and pissed off.” Justin said

“You don’t have to apologize.” Sarah said as Justin grabbed her hand.

“You are one of my best friends. Ever since you started to see Trevor you stopped talking to me all together.” Justin started but stopped when hearing the sound of a ringing cell phone.

“I have to get that.” Sarah said pulling her hand away from Justin’s and into her pocket.

“Let it ring, he can call back later, you can call him back.” Justin said looking into Sarah’s eyes. Sarah closed hers to avoid eye contact.

“If I don’t get it, he’ll think something is wrong.” Sarah said pulling her cell out of her pocket.

“Whatever.” Justin said pushing past Sarah and walking to the front just in time for it to pull to a stop and let them off to go inside the arena.

Adrea watched as Justin walked off the bus. He looked like he could kill a few people. His face was tightened up, and a little flushed with anger. He wouldn’t even acknowledge the fans asking for autographs.

Justin walked right to his dressing room. He didn’t want to talk to anyone. The one person he most wanted to talk to wouldn’t listen to him for more then two minutes.

Justin laid down on the couch in his dressing room. Thoughts kept running through his mind.

I should have just kissed her in the back. I should have told her that I loved her. Why didn’t I grab her phone and talk to her long?

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.

“Go away, I don’t want to talk to anyone.” Justin yelled that didn’t stop the person knocking, they walked in anyway. “I said I don’t want to talk.” Justin said sitting up.

“You’re talking boy.” Adrea said shutting the dressing room door.

“Adrea I don’t want interviewed. I don’t want to get rid of some stupid rumor. Just leave me alone.” Justin said laying back down.

“What is wrong? This is off the record.” Adrea said sitting down by his feet.

“Nothing is wrong, go away Dre.” Justin said

“I’m not stupid. The other night you make Sarah cry I’ve never seen her cry so hard before in my life. You yelled at her for being in your hotel room. Only a few weeks ago you two couldn’t stay out of each other’s hotel rooms. Now she is crying because you yelled at her to get out. What is going on?” Adrea asked

“Your best friend is going on.” Justin said sitting up.

“Trevor, how is he any part of this?” Adrea asked

“If it wasn’t for him, Sarah would at least talk to me for more then a few seconds. Why bother, I mean just because he is leaving don’t mean shit to me. Let him leave and never come back. I bet he told her she couldn’t see me any more. Nothing was going on between us. Just two good friends having fun. I tried to talk to her on the bus, oh but dear old Trevor calls her and she HAS to answer him.” Justin said getting up. “I’m not going to talk to you about this. All I need is for you to tell JC when Hailee is around or when someone else is around.” Justin said going for the door.

“I thought you just liked her as a friend.” Adrea said

“I DO like her as a friend. She’s been there for me since we were 12 years old. Then some dreamy new guy walks in and she is gone, 8 years down the drain so she can get some action from him.” Justin said

“You know as much as I do that she isn’t like that. To throw you out the door for Trevor, you also know as much as I do that she wouldn’t sleep with him. No man at that… not until she was married or with the one she loved.” Adrea said

“How do you know she don’t love Trevor? Would that hurt too much? I mean having you ever had some weird feelings for Trevor? Wanted him like you wanted JC?” Justin asked.

“No, I can say that Trevor is my best friend. I love JC like no one can love someone. You need to move on if you think Sarah is gone. Try to get her back. She isn’t actually gone. Maybe you cut your self off from her after she started to date him.” Adrea started

“Cut off? I tried to get five minutes of her time so I could say sorry for making her cry. Oh but no her cell is ringing it is Trevor she has to answer it.” Justin said running his hand through his hair. “I’m done talking.” He added walking out of the dressing room door, only to run into Sarah talking on her cell phone to Trevor.

“Yeah, I hope your flight was good.” Sarah said with a slight smile.

“God, Just shut up Sarah, you seen him a few hours ago. He hasn’t changed he isn’t cheating on you yet.” Justin said pushing past her on his way to the stage.

He didn’t know what was getting into him. He hadn’t talked to anyone in a while. He closed him self off, ever since Sarah started to stop talking to him. He just couldn’t handle it. She was there for him during all the bad rumors. He remembered the one about him dating Britney Spears. He hadn’t seen Britney since MMC, now there was rumors about him dating her. Sarah was there from when NSYNC won their first award, to their first after party, her prom. She made him feel normal making him go to prom. If she weren’t in his life, he wouldn’t have had anything normal. He wouldn’t have gone to prom, homecoming, and school dances when he had the time. She even made him go to basketball games when they were in town. To him she was his EVERYTHING; he was stuck on her. He couldn’t get his mind off her. Every girl he dated he compared to Sarah.

He could see now, why JC had problems with them always being together. They acted like they were in love and dating. He was the only one in love. He wanted to date her, he knew he couldn’t act on it. He knew Sarah wasn’t for him like that.
