REQUIREMENTS

1. Develop an active home page on the internet with one index page and 3 other pages.

2. Pages must contain at least the following;

a One working hit counter (Home Page only) (1x8=8 pts)
b. One Image or clip art (thumbnail) on each page (4x3=12 pts)
c. One working Email Icon & link on each page (4x3=12 pts)
d. Five full lines of text each page. (4x5=20 pts)
e. One Background (same) for all pages (4x1= 4 pts)
f. One banner table with all links-each page (4x5=20 pts)
h. Different Title on each page (4x1=4 pts )
i. Ftp to server (10 pts)
j. Working on the internet (10 pts)
Late = (-25 pts)

Total = 100pts

3. Subject may be personal or business related.

4. Must FTP your page to the site.

5. Must be able to access your web page online. 20pts

6. Must have excellence in quality, composition & design.

7. Must be done in class!

TIPS

1. Use light or white Background.
2. Use same background for all pages (continuity)
3. Load time should be under 20 seconds.
4. Use common simple style of Font.
5. Use same family of colors.
6. No Glitz....Simplicity of Style.
7. Main purpose is information & to get them back.
8.E mail icon same place on each page.
9. Home page is labeled index.htm
10. All pages are saved in folder named HTML.
11. Check , double check, triple check spelling.
12. Check,double check links.
13. Upper and lower case letters best most of the time.
