2 C. sugar
2 T. Cocoa
Salt-dash
3/4 C. evaporated milk
2 T. butter
1 t. vanilla

Put sugar, cocoa, salt, milk, and butter in saucepan. Mix then cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until it reaches soft ball on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool pan in 2-3 inches of cold water until lukewarm, then beat until thick. Pour into buttered pan.
