April 2007 Recipe

Ravioli

I use any sauce I want and I use the whole jar. I also use generic (Wal-Mart brand) ravioli (again, I use the whole bag). I also use the whole red pepper in the recipe. I'm always afraid Marshall will get a piece.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp. Kraft House Italian Dressing

  • 1 med red pepper, chopped

  • 1 sm onion, chopped

  • 1 pkg (15oz) Di Giorno Marinara Sauce

  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)

  • 1 pkg (9oz) Di Giorno Four Cheese Ravioli, cooked, drained

  • 1/2 cup Kraft Shredded Low-Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Heat dressing in large skillet on medium heat; add peppers and onions. Cook and stir 2 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in marinara sauce and crushed red pepper.

SPREAD 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture onto bottom of shallow 11x7-inch baking dish. Cover with layers of half each of the ravioli, remaining sauce mixture and cheese. Repeat layers. Cover with foil.

BAKE 25 min. or until heated through.

Make Ahead
Prepare as directed except for baking up to 1 day in advance. Cover with foil; refrigerate. When ready to serve, bake as directed, covered, for 30 to 35 min.
