His Dying Wish

As all was quiet
And life was coming to an end
He thought of his life
And how it would end
He thought of his loved ones
Who he would leave behind
Their sorrow and sadness
Is what crossed his mind
As his body felt weak
And at his final breath
He made a dying wish
That he kept to himself
He made a wish for our children
Both yours and mine
That the world would see life
As precious and devine
Not to take life
Instead to embrace
And as his life was then taken
A tear streamed down his face
A tear for our children

Sometimes I

Sometimes I stare at a hole in the wall
Sometimes I catch a gentle breeze
Sometimes I stand with my shoulders broad
Sometimes I want to fall to my knees
Sometimes I sit and wonder why
Sometimes 1 even shed a tear
Sometimes I call out to whomever is listening
Sometimes ! find no one is there
Sometimes 1 dream a sweet dream
Sometimes I wake up in a sweat
Sometimes I hope for happy days
Sometimes it's not what I get
Sometimes I try to make new friends
Sometimes I've had to see them go
Sometimes I wonder if I'll leave the same way
Sometimes 1 want to just let go
Sometimes-—

Beyond The Horizon

I wake up in the morning
And as I sit upon my bed
I look to the horizon
For the things that lie ahead
Just beyond the horizon
Is a place fit always know
A place where I was snatched away
And now I long to go
The memories are my strength
For each and every passing day
With the horizon in my sight
I know I'll find my way
I won't give up
Nor will I give in
I'll keep oon striving
To see what's beyond my friend
Just me and the horizon
A friendship true and strong
Leading me back to a place
A place we both call home

Keep Smiling

When I think of you
I see your smile
The heavenly glow
Of my child
With so much love
You are ready to give
Is one more reason
For me to live
To share with you
A father's love
And give to you
What you dream of
Keep on smiling
Know I'm not far
Daddy's little girl
That's what you are
Always

Loving You

For years and years I've search the world around
And you are the treasure that I have found
So loving, caring, beautiful, and sweet
My all, my everything, my hopes, my dreams
If there was no tomorrow
With thoughts of my loving you
My heart would cry tears
And my days would turn blue
I'm so happy to have you
So proud to call you mine
The visions are sweet
Of our desting through time
So let us go on
As we venture for tomorrow
Together hand in hand
As we continue to follow
The love that we now share
That gets us through the day
The love that we cherish
And learned to let lead the way
When I look into your eyes
The things that I see
The love I've given you
And the love you've given me
Love is in your face

This Day

This day I open my heart to you
Welcoming you inside
In hopes to share something special with you
A love I cannot hide
All my life I've reached out for love
To fill the empty spaces
But through it all no matter how I tried
I've failed to fill these places
This day I find myself wondering
How much longer must I go on
Yurning to feel the kind of love
That together will keep us strong
Is there anyone there that shares my pain
In search of iove along the way
My heart is open welcoming you
Lets fill our hearts this day

Thinking Of You

When I think of you
And the joy you bring
The heavens they open
The angels they sing
There once was a time
I felt all alone
But now that you are here
Those days are far gone
Special you are
Special you'll always be
What I would give
Just to have you close to me

The Dark Faces of Justice

In the midst of the turmoil
The vengeance and hate
We speak our against those
Who try and case our fate
Our voice rings loud
Beyond the shadows of death
We vow to fight the good fight
Even to our final breath
So many precious lives
Have been taken away
And we refuse to be silent
Like this ungodly act is okay
Join us in our fight
To put an end to the killing
Instead of vengeance and hate
We will focus on healing
We "the dark faces of Justice".

Love is Powerful, Love is Reality

Love, something I once knew Something for me that's long past due
Love is strong it captures the soul
It knows no age, sex, race, only control
The pain of being without
Missing how it feels
A healing potion, a fountain of youth
It will always remain to be real And what's shared with those who see
My love is for that special someone
To have, to hold, to be free
I've never walked aware from love
Though love has walked away from me
I will continue to search always
For in love is where I long to be
It's the powerful reality of me loving you
And the powerful reality of you loving me.
