| SITUATION ANALYSIS The majority of the audience of THEATRE 7 is the elderly. Through our website, we hope to attract a younger audience and therefore, growing the membership for THEATRE 7. We feel that by talking to college and high school students about THEATRE 7 will encourage them to partcipate and perhaps their parents. THEATRE 7 also needs help raising money and through our website, we will come up with ideas that will hopefully help benefit them and the work that they do. The five areas we are concentrating on are: 1. To help increase ticket sales for THEATRE 7 shows. We plan on doing this by advertising the website over the internet. Also we plan on talkin to college and high school kids about participating in THEATRE 7. By talking to students we hope to get them along with their parents to attend the shows. 2.To help raise money for THEATRE 7.Our plan to help raise money is to set up fundraisers around campus to help raise money. Also by increasing the publics awareness of THEATRE 7, it will increase the possibility of donations. 3. To help THEATRE 7 gain more community involvement. We will help gain community by advertising fopr auditions, or community service oppurtunites for students. 4. To help THEATRE 7 appeal to a more diverse audience. We can try to get THEATRE 7 to show some more recent plays that younger people can relate to. By this the plays will not all be classics, that mainly attract the elderly. 5.To help THEATRE 7 attract a younger audience. We will do this by going out and talking to students and have them talk to their parents. Also by showing some modern plays, the theatre will tend to attract a younger audience. |
